Josh Weinberg and Tommy Choi met at Bradley University in 2000. Shortly after they met, they knew they would to go into business together because their values aligned and they had a shared passion for real estate. In 2007, Josh and Tommy started Weinberg Choi Residential, a full service residential real estate brokerage, that focuses on buying, selling, leasing, and real estate investments.
The Weinberg Choi Team is ranked in the top 15 teams in sales volume amongst 16,000 agents in Chicago. In 2020, we successfully closed $74 million in buyer and seller transactions. We had a wonderful experience finding our forever home. We began our search in the city with Krista, she was very patient and really had our best interests at heart. We started and stopped our searches multiple times and each time we re-started she welcomed us back and helped us jump right in the game! We looked at many homes and each time the agent showing the homes would go through and make sure we weren’t buying a house that we didn’t love. The team at Weinberg Choi was amazing at helping me buy my first condo in River North. Willem, my realtor, was there every step of the way and helped make this process extremely easy and stress free. Enida was incredibly helpful at planning and scheduling showings and overall logistics. Michael was also incredibly knowledgeable and filled in on showings seamlessly. Thanks to Lexie, our experience with buying a condo was amazing. Buying from out-of-state, we were able to find the perfect place, go through the process and close the deal in less a month. We used Weinberg Choi to buy our South Loop Condo when we relocated to Chicago ten years ago and used them again the sell during the pandemic. We were very pleased in both instances. They were reliable, honest, professional. Their team was quick to reply to any questions we had and very helpful in selling our condo without us remaining in Chicago. Talk about WOW service. Josh (and Tommy) are masters of the real estate space. Specifically, Josh helped me and my wife recently purchase our first home. Although it seemed intimidating at first, the entire team at Weinberg Choi walked us through seamlessly and provided thoughtful guidance, education, and positivity throughout. Relocated to Chicago on short notice for work, and was able to schedule a full day of showings with Josh when I arrived in town. Based on my budget, and preference of neighborhoods, he was able to show me about 7-8 places. He was always available to answer any questions I had, and once I decided the right rental for me, he was able to help me through the leasing process.
