Always had a great experiance but I would no longer reccoment them. In oxford ct my appointment was ar 12pm no one came out to see us. By 12:20 there was a lady pounding at the back door screaming with her two children about a covid test. Two more people came in and sat next to me (velvet chairs that you cannot properly clean) who were also waiting to be tested for covid. I was unaware they test for covid and keep everyone together and I was there for my routine fillers. By 12:30 I had to ask the women in charge if they test people for Covid and she said yes. My appointment at the West Hartford location was booked online and confirmed by JLJ multiple times via email and text. When I arrived, I “checked in” (outside the building) by text as instructed. That’s when I… realized the office was closed. No one was there. I texted them and left a voice mail message and received NO RESPONSE. Save your time and money. Go somewhere else!

CUSTOMER BE AWARE: This establishment is unprofessional and a fraud. I made an appointment weeks ago. They called me a few hours before to tell me there was a scheduling conflict. Then I rescheduled for today. I walked in and this lovely lady who has no affiliation with JLJ told me this space is being used for COVID testing and that the medispa isn’t opened today. I texted the number which I had for JLJ and indicated I am here but there is no one except this COVID team at the location. The response was: it’s not open for Tuesday. I will never again recommend this spa for services. Was satisfied with the botox I received from the doctor and with her assistant in West Hartford I brought 4 people in for services and was issued a 50 credit for each referral. I waited a year due to covid and now getting the run around about the credits. 2 months of waiting for a staff member… to get back to me is aggravating. I was going to buy threads and ended up going somewhere else that charged half the price JLJ. beware, you get lured in with the Groupon but their prices are higher than competitors and they don't keep their word

I got under eye filler, lip filler and botox here last December. As I'm looking in the mirror annoyed at my eye I decided other people should beware. I waited an hour. The girl was loudly stating to the front girl that she didn't want to see me because she was running behind. Too bad I had an appointment. Don't overbook then. Then she was not nice at all and acted annoyed the entire time. I have a permanent black eye even after going elsewhere to have it corrected, my lips looked like a blow fish and my botox lasted only 6 weeks. Stay away. Terrible service. Terrible work.

Injector was not very friendly and seemed annoyed that I had questions about certain treatments. In fact, she even said at one point we were going to run out of time if I kept talking and she wouldn't be able to finish. Perhaps if they hadnt let me wait for service for 30 minutes it would've been a non issue. Also, If you are told that a certain price will be honored for Botox then you should honor your statement. They refused to honor the price they said they would. Do not go here. Rude and dishonest.

After reading amazing reviews about Cristal I went to JLJ. She is great very professional and everyone is very nice at the office. I went for botox and I paid 70 $ more because the units I bought through Groupon weren’t enough. I came back three weeks after because my left eyebrow was a little funny. She fixed it. After 2 months of botox I have my wrinkles back. Usually it last 6 months. I am very disappointed.

I love everything about this place! It's clean and beautiful, Ramse is warm and welcoming and Rebecca who does my botox is the best! What I love even more is that no one here is pushy, they dont try and sell you what you dont need! I've had botox several times before, and the results were never as good or lasted as long as they do since I started coming to JLJ. Rebecca really knows what she is doing!

This is a very unprofessional establishment. They are not only rude but they make appointments for services they don't offer and then call you back and ask if you would like to come in the following day for another service and I told them if I could I would call back. I never called back to make the appointment. The next day I get a text that I missed my appointment and there is a $50 no show fee before I can book again. This review is of the jlj MedSpa location in West Hartford. The establishment was difficult to locate because they seem to share the space with medi weight loss. The only signage that identified (JLC) was a piece of white paper with the letters JLC spa

I visited the spa twice the receptionist on both visit were nice and attentive. The spa quality is below the industry standard. I wouldn't spend my money here. I'm a healthcare professional and I excepted to see functional, up to date equipment. This spa is a generic junk yard. My IPL was done by Donna and the hand piece kept falling off during the treatment. I told the spa about the hyper pigmentation and they insisted on selling me another service rather than offering to correct the problem. My second visit was today and I decided to try a RF treatment. Again anther disappointment.

We will see as the tattoo heals and how it goes in the next few visits but i wanna say based off the first visit... this place is nice! It's very clean inside and well kept. The technician i had was very sweet and helpful through every step of my tattoo removal appointment. She really gave me the best set up possible and was very aware of my pain levels the entire time and was super great! I'm glad I got this Groupon.
