The Buddhist understanding of death and dying is enormously beneficial. It is based on those who have directly experienced the indestructible nature of consciousness in meditation and has been affirmed through many generations of practitioners. Gaining experience of this meditation will enable us to not only deal skillfully with our grief but also help those who are dying or have died.

Buddhism teaches that to find lasting happiness and meaning in our lives we need to follow a spiritual path. To follow this path, it is important to have a close connection with a qualified Teacher who can give us personal advice and encouragement, to listen to pure Dharma teachings and to be a part of a strong spiritual community.

This is a perfect place for people who are looking to get more from their meditation practice. The teachers are very personable, and excel at making these powerful techniques relevant to your daily life. At Vajra Light, you quickly learn how to take the peaceful mind you cultivate in meditation and bring it out into the workday world with you. Incredibly deep but also immensely practical. Beautiful, comfortable setting and a friendly, supportive community. If you're looking to start a meditation practice, or deepen the one you have, this is the place.

I have been going to Vajra Light for a few months. I was a little anxious to attend at first not knowing anyone but everyone there is extremely kind and welcoming. It is a beautiful community of people and the teachings are life changing. The teacher Donna is extremely relatable and makes all the teachings very understandable, light hearted and accessible for everyone. The outside of the building is deceiving because it is an office looking building but the center itself is beautiful and it’s always a peaceful blessed place that I look forward to going to.

This is a wonderful place to learn about meditative practice. The resident teacher is a very experienced practioner and knows how to help all levels of students. If you are looking to get to know the basic tenets of the practice or go deep into the Buddhist tradtion this is a unique place that offers a full range of helpful practices. I feel very fortunate to be able to be part of such a wonderful `communtiy of practioners at the Vajra Light Center. I wish everyone I know who has ever expressed to me that they are going through problems could visit the center and let them help with the great solutions
