We started out as independent fireplace installers for other fireplace retailers. After four years of doing that we saw the need to bring the integrity back to the fireplace shopping experience. Far to often customers get lost in the communication process and lack of knowledge from those who they buy from. That is why we decided to go from just installers to a one stop shop. So here we are now!

They have an extremely small showroom with only a couple of products to look at and the sales-person we talked to knew literally nothing about their products. I literally knew more than them about gas fireplaces from having spent a little bit of time looking at their vendors website. They refused to give even a ballpark estimate of pricing without all kinds of details of where/how it was installed even though we knew the exact model of fireplace we were interested in and what options we wanted. We just had our fireplace installed by RCS Fireplace and they did a wonderful job. Rusty and the crew were honest, professional, reliable, fast, efficient and very easy to work with. We had a horrible leak which went down our chase and ended in our crawlspace - he took care of fixing and replacing it all. They were respectful and understanding with our schedule as we work out of our home due to the pandemic. Rusty and his crew took all the necessary measures for safety (masking, wearing PPE equipment while at our home). Their work speaks for itself, we are very grateful and pleased with their work

This is the second service we've had done by RCS. The service is fine. They showed up for the appointment at the allotted time and did the work. The reason for the two stars is because the employee was wearing a cloth gator as he entered the house and when I asked if they send him into homes with only that he muttered something about wishing he could go without but that they insist that he at least wear this. As I went out to his van to sign off on the bill I noticed the N95 mask hanging in his car. He had proper personal protection equipment but chose not to wear it. I was his fourth

Hi - Rusty installed a gas fire table insert at my home. He did an excellent job. We hired him again to design and install a large outdoor kitchen outfitted with Blaze Professional appliances. It's a joy to cook on these appliances. Rusty custom designed and built a steel cover for the fire-table and a deflector behind the grill because the heat was too hot for the granite backsplash. Rust is very talented, very reliable and his prices are reasonable. I highly recommend RCS.

Our family had a new gas insert installed 4 years ago. Used RCS for 2 yearly services then this year, 2018, we had it serviced early because we couldn’t turn it on in January. It was barely wiped down by a male who was shocked we had a gas insert, kept repeating he was unfamiliar with our model and left without being able to turn it on. He attempted to collect a payment from us for cleaning and the “service” and his time at our home. We refused to pay until we spoke to a manager and could turn on our fireplace. No one called us. We are very happy with the gas fireplace repair done by RCS about 2 years ago. The fireplace would turn on but not stay on. After researching online I decided it was not something I wanted to try to diagnose myself, so I called these guys.
I made the appointment over the phone and they explained that the fee they charged to come to my house included the first 45 minutes to diagnose and fix the problem but if it took longer than that, it would be an added cost. The tech arrived on time and was professional. The part that impressed me the most is after he diagnosed and fixed the problem within

RCS responded promptly; sent out a friendly competent tech to determine if our insert worked. He cleaned it, left me a can of stove paint & told me how to touch it up. I then called the shop requesting to buy a remote. Even though they were busy they said that if we had an open window of times when they could come they would fit us in. 2 days later a worker showed up & installed the remote. Later, the gas was turned off & when I called, the person walked

Made an appointment that I needed to reschedule. They were kind enough to move it out a few days, only to call me back today and needed to move it out another week. I guess I should have read the other reviews about their poor scheduling habits. I don't play games as this business owner inferred and it took him a long time to respond. Typical of their response time. I had a great experience with Chimcare. They were able to come out before RCS and all the work of as completed to my satisfaction.

Let me put this in the simplest terms possible. If you schedule an appointment for a service call, and then just do not show up and do not call to reschedule, you are not worthy of anyone's business. This is what occurred after several attempts of just trying to talk to a human at this business to schedule an appointment. Look elsewhere.

Rusty is a great fireplace repair man. In addition to doing an excellent job servicing, cleaning, and repairing our two fireplaces, the one factor I value most is his honesty. He does the work necessary to fix the fireplace and has never overcharged us. One time there was only a temperamental electrical connection and he literally just jostled it to repair it. He could have charged us the full service call amount but decided to be generous about it which I really appreciated. Very good guy.
