Like a lot of success stories, it started in a garage. In 1980 John & Naomi Wallace, like many American families, were feeling the pinch of the current energy crisis. So they began looking for an alternative to heating their home with electricity. They decided to buy a wood stove, but they couldn't get it at the price they wanted unless they purchased six units all at once.
A couple days later John secured commitments from co-workers to buy the remaining five stoves. When the last of those five original stoves left John & Naomi's garage a light went off in their head. Freestanding gas stoves offer the classic look of a wood stove, but the convenience of gas. You can vent most gas stoves through the wall, or vertically through the roof. After trying to work with some local fire place stores and not really getting great or timely service, we checked out Wallace's and they hooked us up with a stove exactly like we were looking for in just a day. Wallace's also did a great job of determining everything needed for our chimney and explaining the install process 👍

I was very happy with the service I received from Service Tech, Ken. He was very knowledgeable about my gas fireplace an was able to troubleshoot the problem and replace the needed part. He also thoroughly cleaned the fireplace. My fireplace has never worked or looked better! He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I appreciate the honest and excellent service!

Great selection, very neat showroom. The prices are reasonable. The only downside was that the staff were very very brusque. We got what we needed fast, though, so we'd probably shop here again.
They have a wide variety of stoves and gas fireplaces on display, along with pellet grills and accessories, which I thought were interesting as I'd never seen them before. They didn't have a very large selection of fireplace inserts, but the ones they did have were good quality. The fuel selection covers pretty much every need from pellets to cord wood to presto logs. They even have a few pieces of fire
