A native of Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Camacho graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School and the University of Miami. After college, Dr. Camacho attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston where his clinical research earned him the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics.
