Dr. Mark McCawley is a lifelong resident of Fort Lauderdale. He graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University. He received his D.M.D. degree from Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine and also a Masters of Science, as well as, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study after a three year residency in periodontology and implants from Nova.

There is no other place to go for periodontics or laser surgery. The staff and doctor McCawley are the absolute best. I have anxiety and can honestly say I look forward to going in because I know without a single doubt that the care is above and beyond. I had Lanap with sedation and if ever have to do again or if I ever know of anyone else who does I'd go nowhere else. I even had a nurse from another office in the elevator tell me how amazing they were and she didn't even work there. I had to go back a few times for them for followups and was always met with such kindness, care and patience. I

I’ve been a patient here almost a year and I am very pleased with the worked they have done. I discovered them after seeking a second opinion on work I needed after a visit to Sage Dental in Boynton Beach. Thank God for second opinions!! The McCawley Center are great professionals that takes their time to explain to you what you are experiencing, why and give you all your options. My experience yesterday with Dr. Mark and his entire staff was so impri. From the moment I arrived in the waiting room everyone made me feel like I was the only patient in the office. His surgical assistant came out to greet me with a smile and introduced herself. When she seated me to go over my health history she made sure I was comfortable and made me feel at ease. Dr Mark came in and explained what he was going to do. He had such a confident manner. Dr Mark was so gentle and one hour later I was on my way home. This office is very professional and friendly. They helped us save a lot of money because we were about to spend tens of thousands of dollars due to the greed of a previous dentist. The staff is very helpful and courteous and they even sent a postcard after gum surgery. Small detail that counts a lot. Highly recommended periodontal practice, especially for their Laser capacity, which reduces risk for those on blood thinners.

I'm grateful I found this practice. Before I found McCawley, I haven't seen a dentist much less a periodontist to treat my gum disease in YEARS. I've been going to McCawley for over 8 years, and I've never had a negative experience. Even times when I'm not keeping up with my home treatment, the staff just gives me a nice little nudge to get me back on track. A+++ McCawley Center is the best! Tom McCawley, D.D.S. was very professional along with his staff. Melissa his nurse was amazing with me in surgery and just made me feel so comfortable. Tom McCawley was gentle and made me feel special through the whole procedure. The next day I received a beautiful floral arrangement from the Dr. Tom and his staff. Everyone in this practice is excellent. Dr Thomas McCawley, whose care and advice is always spot on, is not only a very competent professional but very compassionate as well. Barbara is a great hygienist. She’s gentle and thorough. The front desk is in the hands of capable and accommodating team members that make the whole process of check in, appointments and payments a breeze. Because the office follows strictly the COVID protocols I felt secure at all times. Besides, we followed their recommendations and were introduced to a very good oral surgeon.

I have been a patient of the practice for a couple of years and drive from Coral Springs because I value so highly the level of customer service I receive on each and every visit. Dr. Mark and his entire staff are focused on providing the very best individual care and and provide encouragement for maintaining good dental habits at home. Appointment times are always honored and the operations team is also incredibly friendly and efficient. For state of the art periodontal work I couldn't recommend the McCawley Center more highly.
