Since day one, Cross Creek Steakhouse has been serving family-style food that has its roots in Old Florida. Our menu is perfect for lunch or dinner; our hand-cut steaks, baby back ribs, and ribeye steaks are all cut in-house. At Cross Creek Steakhouse, we take a lot of pride in our food, and we never rush to achieve perfection.
It always takes time, and it is always worth it! Most of our dishes are prepared from scratch. Our pork butts and beef brisket are slowly smoked for 12 to 14 hours every night, and our succulent baby back and spare ribs are smoked as well. The meat just falls off the bone. Each steak we serve is hand-cut by our in-house butcher and charbroiled to order.

I never complain especially knowing these restaurants can not get help. We sat at a bar table it took 30 mins for the waitress to tell us they did not have our appetizer. 30 mins later we finally got a appetizer. Steaks were way over cooked for med rare and waitress never came back for us to pay the bill. We ended up carrying the receipt to front cashier. .Waitress more interested n Socializing than working.

The brisket was tough, the grilled vegetables were not cooked and did not come out until I had already ate half my meal and the garlic bread came out when we were finished eating. We asked for a manager to let them know about the dissatisfaction of quality of the food and she just said I will take the price of your meal off.
I did not tell her to have her take the price off, I told her to try and make them aware of the quality and to fix the issues. We will not go back. The waitress was good and she still got a generous tip, I don’t believe it was her fault.

Had Texas Combo (brisket & sausage) with mash potatoes and collard greens.
3 thinly sliced pieces of brisket.

Collard greens were good. But not much.
You could tell the brisket sits in a cool temperature until it's ordered. My guess is it gets a microwave reheat upon ordering. My assumption.
For $20.47 with no drink. I feel is a bit steep. Comparing to the many BBQ places I frequent at home (Tampa). I'm used to paying $17 with giant sweet tea. And receiving more than you can eat

Today my son and I stopped to have a father & son meal together. The food was good the waitress was great. Halfway through our meal my son spotted 4 German roaches on the back of my booth seat. I showed the waitress and in doing so several other german roaches totaling 7 were all over the booth both sides and customers saw them also. The waitress got a shift manager he came out and saw them and said sorry and walked away. I never wanted anything for free but to not take my bill of 31.00 dollars and offer to compensate for the experience was not good management. I paid my bill but I will never go
