Went to get a strawberry cake but when I cut into it there was a strawberry cake with a layer of cheesecake. Had I known they made cakes like that I would have asked but also as a employee saying something like “there’s cheesecake in it too” would have been nice because the cake was labeled strawberry crunch cake at the time of purchase. After eating around the cheesecake part I found something in the cake that I thought was mold, but actually looked looked like a thin piece of skin with little hairs sticking out. It's always a tasty treat to visit Yia Yia's Bakery. My last visit was a day out with the grand kids. It was so delightful to watch their faces as they decide which pastry they wanted to eat.
The choices were gingerbread cookies, baklava, snd six cupcakes. They were so excited. They each had what they wanted.
The servers were very patient with them and appease their curiosity and answer their questions. This makes me laugh.
I myself, have been to the Bakery on many occasions, and I can say, it doesn't matter who assist you, the service is always the same, superb. Great service to everyone involved

CCBC blessed each employee the honor of picking a holiday dessert. I selected the Chocolate Mousse Cake. I kept it in the refrigerator for a week. It kept well. The cake was still moist and full of flavor. It was delicious! My family enjoyed it as well. Thanks to Dr. K., President of CCBC, and Yia Yia’s Bakery for the perfect dessert for my Christmas gathering with my family!

I stopped by after a demo tors appointment for a coffee and donut and was pleasantly surprised to find a bakery nearby.
I got some olive bread, a slice of smith island cake and a donut. The donut was a little disappointing but the cake and bread were wonderful.
The selection of cakes is amazing and the prices are reasonable too.

This place is always a fun, dependable destination for confectionery charm. The Tres Leche and Strawberry Shortcake are among my favorites. However if you are not in need of a whole cake. The cake pops and some cupcakes are a great way to have travel size party on to go. You can enjoy so many options, from old favorites the staff is warm and knowledgeable about their business. Probably because it's work worth sinking your teeth into. I'm sure you will be pleased with purchase from this bakery.

This pizza parlor is very small, and it is located right next to Yia Yia’s Bakery. The menus include pizzas, subs, pasta, salads, gyros, and more. The customer can choose either carryout or delivery. The store associate was courteous, and my order was ready on time.
For being a first-time customer, I ordered 16-inch “Yia Yia Supreme” pizza for lunch from its website. The price of the pizza was somewhat competitive. The payment method does NOT include Google Pay, Apple Pay, or cash. Only your credit cards. By the way, this pizza parlor does NOT have Apple/Android mobile app (yet).

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!
We had a bridal shower for my daughter today. When we got to the shower this is what the cake looked like when we removed it from the box, after doing everything they recommended.
I immediately called and spoke to Christina the manager on duty.,she told us sorry there was nothing she could do for us after we spent 60 dollars on the cake. I am really disappointed in the with the service we received after being a customer for over 10 years. We will never return to buy anything from here ever again after our horrible experience on my daughter special day. Shame on you Yia Yia

So I gave this 3 stars ONLY because we used to get all our birthday cakes from there and two out of the many cakes we have gotten have had hair in them...Upon us finding the hair, they took it back and gave us another one. Don't get me wrong. The cakes are AMAZING! The other sweets are just as good. So if you choose to try Yia Yias hopefully your cakes will be hair free and just as delicious as always! (I have yet to try their pizza, so I'll update when I do)

This bakery is a gem located on Philadelphia rd in white marsh. We have had many items from this place at different functions and everything we've tried has been delicious!! We bought our sons graduation cake here -a red velvet with cream cheese frosting & there were no complaints. As far as quality goes 5/5, prices 4/5 some items can be pricey but they do custom cakes like nothing you've ever seen before. I highly recommend this bakery for all your cakes, special order items etc. just be sure to order a special item with plenty of notice and you won't be disappointed! I&apos

I am a new devotee of Yia Yai's Bakery! They designed the most beautiful safari animal themed cake for my 3 year old's birthday on Friday! As a first time customer, I was initially a little nervous about placing an order but all of the staff that I encountered were so friendly and helpful that I was immediately put at ease.
The cake design was absolutely adorable and DELICIOUS!! Even though the bakery is about an hour's drive away, I am definitely going to order again for the next special occasion! Thank you, Yia Yai's, for helping me create a wonderful birthday memory

This is not for the bakery but for the pizza place affiliated with the bakery (next to it). I ordered two uncooked pizzas to make at home. I brought them home and placed them in the freezer as instructed. Four days later we pulled the pizzas out of the freezer. When we tried to get them out of the boxes they broke apart because they were frozen and dough stuck to box. We put the pieces on the pan and put them in the oven at 450 as they instructed. The tops of the pizzas cooked but the bottoms did not. I called the restaurant to see if they would give us a credit or a refund. They told us it

We've ordered a few birthday cakes and/or had one of the many ready made/available daily cakes decorated for different occasions.
Some of our favorites-Mouse, Cookies and Cream cake, Carrot Cake, Tiramisu, Key lime pie slices and any of the cheesecake (Snickers!) flavors. You can't beat their slices/cup cakes selection!
A good variety of European cookies (Greek specialties) & pastries that never disappoint. They also have donuts that are excellent! (chocolate frosted is the one!)

I love this bakery! Every time I go there, I find myself trying something new and to date they have yet to disappoint. It has become my family's go-to bakery for special occasions. We ordered this strawberry shortcake for my mom's birthday and we enjoyed it so much. It's the perfect amount of sweetness, and you can taste the authenticity of it being homemade. Try the caramel tres leches cake also, you won't be disappointed

Last minute cake!
My trip to LA, to Celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, was abruptly canceled due to COVID-19. I informed Yia Yia's bakery of this and asked for a last minute cake. They truly worked with me to make my boyfriend's cake a success.
He does not like sweets however THIS cake, he not only visually loved, but he physically devoured! You guys are awesome and I will definitely be placing future cake orders with you!

Absolutely amazing. I bought one of the pre-made cakes before work and it was loved by everyone in the office. I usually don't cakes to be too rich but it was perfect. People still ask about the Smith Island cake I got. To me it sounded outrageous but come to find out everyone was familiar with it except me. And it was amazing! The service was great and they answered all my questions when I came in the day before to price out what I needed. 15/10 would recommend.
