The H&S Family of Bakeries including H&S Bakery, Northeast Foods, and Schmidt Baking Company together make up America's largest family-owned variety baker, proudly providing specialty baked goods to major industry retailers and small businesses in the United States.

Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, we operate as an integrated network of 10 bakeries and more than 30 distribution centers located strategically across the Eastern seaboard, not including our strategic partners which expands our reach even further.We offer large-scale, custom-made production with a selection of over 250 SKUs of baked goods, as well as flexible solutions for distribution and merchandising.

Our integrated network of East Coast facilities consists of 10 distinct bakeries, and over 30 depots performing as a team to produce and deliver our baked goods to more than 100,000 restaurants, supermarkets, QSRs, and fast-casual customers.

We provide distribution solutions for the largest broadline partners and individual units alike, offering options for either fresh-baked DSD (direct-store-delivery), FOB, or frozen shipping customized to fit your needs.

We offer a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) program customized to meet the needs of your business. Our network of over 500 local routes leaving from 30 distribution centers cover 10 states in the Mid-Atlantic to Northeast region. Depending on your location, service may be offered by H&S Distribution, Schmidt Baking, or both.
