The Ship's Store is one of the largest tackle shops with bait of every type, an expert staff, marine supplies including electrical, polishes and waxes, cleaning materials, marine safety equipment, boat batteries, collectors' items, groceries, and a full repair service. Visitors can sit down for a casual breakfast, lunch and dinner at Star Island Grill, serving fresh locally caught seafood.

Sam's Star Island is known as the largest ship's store and tackle shop on the East End, serving the avid sport fisherman, casual cruiser and professional captain and crew. The store is staffed by an expert crew dedicated to serving your boating needs. From the hardcore fisherman to the young snapper popper, the Sam's Star Island tackle department can fulfill your every need.

Holiday cancellations will only receive credit if the slip has been re-rented for the same time period.

My friends and I ordered pasta and a Caesar salad. The pasta was clearly reheated. We then asked for cheese and put it on our pasta not realizing it was filled with mold. The croutons in the caesar salad were replaced with pieces of sesame bagels. I was highly dissatisfied with the food here. Especially since my meal had mold in it that clearly needed to go back to the kitchen.

Absolutely delicious food! You hook, they cook!!
It was just another amazon dinner in one of my favorite place! Huge portions for three people! We brought seabass and lean cod and that all what we got!!! Super cool and great service! 50% occupancy due to COVID restrictions which made us feel safe! Definitely highly recommended by me as being picky gourmand 😁.
