The Devon Yacht Club is a private, member owned yacht club located on the shores of Gardiner's Bay in Amagansett, New York. Devon provides opportunities for sailing instruction, sailing for pleasure and more serious racing; our members have competed in many events at the national and international level. Devon welcomes guests accompanied by our members as well as members from reciprocal clubs.
Services
Our professional sailing staff provides instruction using the Club's own Alerion 28 Perseverance, 23 ft Sonar, and fleet of Sunfish and Lasers. The Devon Junior Yacht program provides instruction in a variety of dinghies including Optimists, Sunfish, Lasers, Club 420s. Campers compete in numerous PGJSA regattas on the East End and in Connecticut.
The daily raising and lowering of the American flag is a time-honored tradition at the Devon Yacht Club and we invite all members and their guests to join us in this ceremony each evening. At the sound of the bell, please stand. Upon firing of the cannon all non-uniformed citizens should place their right hand over their heart and hold the salute until the flag is unsnapped from the halyard.

Some of the people are ok but most of them are not. There Junior program has really fallen off leaving the kids and parents upset. The only thing this club has going for it is it's location and even that is not as great as it might seem. I would not advise getting a membership for this club let alone forcing your kids to indure the awful summer time program.
