I cannot say enough about the outstanding service we have received from Cathedral. We moved to the Phoenix area in 2009 and after using them one time have never went anywhere else. We have always had older autos and as such are a challenge sometimes to keep them going. John and Shane and their technicians were always able to keep them going. The prices have always been fair and I was never charged any "diagnostic" fees like the other shops do. We recently moved back to Ohio and sure do miss the honest work we received there.

I took my wife's 2012 Toyota Matrix to Cathedral due to a slight vibration felt when braking at high speeds. Shane and his team checked it out and the verdict was that the brakes were in pretty good shape and there was no safety concern. Was pleasantly surprised not to be charged for them checking it out. How often do you take a car to a shop and they find something to fix, even if your concern turns out to be nothing to worry about? They definitely earned my trust for what they didn't do and I plan to start taking my wife's and my cars there for service.

These guys are awesome. Cathedral has been my go-to for more than 15 years, and I have always been pleased with their service and their prices. I had visited another shop for a quick oil change awhile back, and they had presented me with a laundry list of "urgently needed repairs"...took the vehicle in to Shane and the crew at Cathedral and they told me that half of the stuff on the list was a lie. They then prioritized the other repairs for me, telling me which ones were actually urgent, and which could wait... then they provided me pricing for each, so I could budget accordingly. This is the

Kind of bummed with the service I received...Especially considering that I was referred to them (I moved recently and needed to find a new mechanic). It wasn't that they were bad or anything but they just weren't terribly helpful. When I went to pick my car up, I thought we'd talk a little bit about the car and best ways to handle the A/C replacement but Shane pretty much just handed me my key and showed me the door (literally). I tried to engage in some kind of "What are your thoughts on putting $1,400 into a car with 250k miles on it" but he didn't seem to be

Well that was nice. Went here yesterday for an oil change and didn't get a 30 minute lecture of doom and gloom. You know, hey lady you need new tires, brakes, transmission fluid, etc... I only got a friendly reminder that my serpentine belt has a few cracks and I should think about switching that out! Okey dokey, I'll be back. thanks

These guys are great! Honest, fair prices and straight forward. I was referred to them by one of their long time customers. I had bought a suburban that was throwing several codes and couldn't be registered. I took it to Firestone on Cave Creek and was quoted $2,400 to have the work done. I took it to Shane for an inspection/quote and for almost HALF the PRICE that firestone quoted, he did the work and it passed emissions! I will be a customer for life now. Even going to him for oil changes. It's hard to find mechanics with integrity and fair prices. I found that with Shane at Cathedral

Even though I live in San Diego, I try to save the big repairs for when I visit family in Phoenix. That way I can take my Mazda 3 to Cathedral. I trust Shane and his crew to do the job right and give me a square deal. They just replaced my broken AC compressor, saving me a couple of hundred dollars over quotes in SD. Gotta love that!

This place is simply superb! I used to take my car to Greulich's for all my needs. After being terribly disappointed several times I decided to switch my place of business.
My experience with Shane and the guys has been wonderful. They are willing to tackle tasks other places wouldn't be able to comprehend. There have been three occasions where I wasn't charged for their time at all because it was something simple. Everywhere else they want to charge around $100 just to look at it.
The quality of work these guys perform is also exceptional.

This is a top notch automotive shop. Customer service is second to none. NO price gouging, honest fast and very accomadating, I brought my car in here expecting to pay a ton of cash and they remedied the problem saving me a lot of $$$.. I can without a doubt highly recommended this place to anyone i know and will never bring my car anywhere else for a repair.. good old fashion honest hardworking trained mechanics work at this shop....
