NO SHOW POLICY: We understand that sometimes you must reschedule appointments or will have a conflict arise. Therefore, we generously allow you to reschedule or cancel any appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment time. However, out of respect for our other patients and our physician's time, we must require that all patients cancel at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment time.
At North Houston Psychiatry, we take care to provide our patients with high quality mental health services personalized for their needs. We offer a variety of services including medication management and counseling.
We treat ages 13 and up and a large range of problems or issues including (but not limited to): depression, anxiety, mood disorders, fibromyalgia, addictions, ADD/ADHD, dementia, Alzheimers, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, chemical dependancy, substance abuse and a variety of other problems.However, we will always aim to treat you as an individual and not just your diagnosis.

I only went there for one appointment. I showed up about 30-45 minutes early as requested to fill out my new patient forms. Then I wasn't seen until almost an hour past my scheduled appointment time. Other patients came in, were seen, and left multiple times while I sat there waiting with no explanation. Finally, I got back in line to talk to the receptionist to ask what the hold up was. Before I got to the front of the line, I was FINALLY called in to see the therapist with no apology or explanation as to why I was made to wait so long. Had a new patient appt and left work early made it early to my supposed appt time and to be told it was at a different time. I asked if they call the patients to remind them they stated they send a call and text which I never received either one because if I did I would have made the appropriate appt time. Then want to charge me a no show fee. No thanks. You should try working with patients instead sending them away because obviously we make appointments for a reason and that is too seek help. I can see why you only have 3.7 stars. Could have stayed at work and made money

Poir service. Schedule to see them in 2 months but only wrote a 30 day prescription. They wont bother to write another refill and choose to blame the pharmacy even though they are the ones that wrote the prescription. Already feeling withdrawal symptoms and left helpless. Nice place and location but bad help. I don't reccomend them for your mental health needs.

I was a first time new patient. When I booked, I requested Dr. Godsy. The appointment was scheduled for a Saturday and when I arrived (on time) I was informed "he's running behind". When I asked "How far behind" she refused to give me any estimate saying "He doesn't cut people off and I don't know which ones might be simple refills". In total I ended up waiting for over an hour. During that time, the receptionist asked me 3 different times to pay up front. I kept telling her that without any estimate I didn't know if I would be able to wait to see him and I wanted to pay after. She said they don

I would encourage people to be suspicious when people come on here and leave only 1 review and it is a negative review. That tells me it is a competitor and not an actual patient or a person who has set up multiple accounts just to disparage someone...probably because they are drug seeking and the doctor would not feed their addiction and they are disgruntled about it. Especially when they are saying things patently untrue like lieing about his credentials.
