Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress that becomes a disorder when fear or anxiety is excessive. Symptoms include restlessness, feeling on edge or easily fatigued, difficulty concentrating, muscle tension or problems sleeping.
Emergency Services: Psychiatry of Texas is not able to provide emergency or urgent services. If you have an emergency or urgent situation, you should go to the nearest emergency room or urgent care or call 911. Email should never be used for urgent or emergency issues. Children or Dependents: Initial evaluations for children involve a full evaluation by our providers.

My son has severe social anxiety so it is almost impossible for me to get him to go to a clinic and talk to a professional. That was made very simple by the virtual appointment at Psychiatry of Texas. The psychiatrist was lovely. She was polite and understanding which made my son feel a lot more comfortable talking to her. She was on time for every appointment and setting up the call wasn't inconvenient either. The virtual session was noticeably beneficial for my son and we hopefully move onto in-person sessions with the psychiatrist very soon.

My husband was having a tough time so we decided a psychiatrist would be the best option for him. After looking around, I found Psychiatry of Texas and I'm so glad. Their psychiatrist had a very friendly attitude and seemed very knowledgeable. My husband is now doing a lot better thanks to their weekly sessions and his motivation has also increased significantly.

I recently decided to switch my psychiatrist and opted for Psychiatry of Texas. They have an amazing team that works very hard. I simply contacted them over the phone and I was able to get an appointment that same week. I can't believe how quick and easy the whole ordeal was. I didn't have to wait for weeks to get an appointment and I was so relieved. The doctor listened to all my problems and addressed any concerns. She even assured me that she would be available any time I needed her. I have already booked my next appointment with her and now I am really glad I switched over to them.

I was having multiple mental breakdowns when I decided to go to Psychiatry of Texas. My psychiatrist was extremely kind and caring. I was having a complete mental crisis so my doctor took care of me. She explained everything to me in simpler terms and we talked about different coping mechanisms that we could use. It was really easy to talk to her and we have finally figured out something that is working for me. I would recommend her to everyone.

I recently switched over from my psychiatrist to Psychiatry of Texas, and I am very pleased with their service. I didn't feel like I was being understood and my Doctor didn't have a lot of time in his schedule to have multiple appointments per week. My Psychiatrist at Psychiatry of Texas has been extremely helpful. I never feel rushed at any of my appointments and my doctor always manages to make time for me whenever I need her. I couldn't have asked for a better psychiatrist.

I had been going through a lot emotionally so my friend recommended I go see a psychiatrist at Psychiatry of Texas. I was concerned about getting hooked on medication but my doctor was very understanding. He didn't prescribe any medication, instead, he listened to my issues and helped me set achievable goals, and taught me techniques to manage emotional stress. I'm so glad I decided to go to him, I have been feeling a lot better in my life all thanks to them

I was dealing with a lot of depression and anxiety which had only escalated by the fact that I recently moved. My old Psychiatrist was no longer near me so I decided to look for a new one. After researching online I found Psychiatry of Texas within my area and they had remarkable reviews. I decided to book my first appointment with them and had a great experience. My Doctor was lovely and kind. She listened to my problems and really made me feel like I had someone to talk to. I have definitely found a new psychiatrist for me.

I am so impressed with the work of the doctors at Psychiatry of Texas. They have gone above and beyond and responded even on the weekends. I had been looking for a good doctor for my son but I was having trouble finding one that suited him. Their doctor was extremely dedicated and focused on my son's mental health. She never made us feel rushed or like she was uninterested. She was kind and caring at each appointment and was very patient with him even during the hard times. I would recommend everyone go to their practice for an incredible psychiatrist.

Psychiatry of Texas has the best team of doctors available! They are kind-hearted and caring towards all their patients and they are the best mental health professionals in all of Texas. I have been working with them for a couple of months and I have had a wonderful experience. Not only does the doctor always listen during the appointments but he also makes sure that he is available for me whenever I need him. My doctor is easy to reach and simply a phone call away whenever I'm in need. I don't think I will change to any other psychiatrist any time soon.
