This review is specific to Brittany Richard who provided quality service upon our visit. Brittany explained everything about this location in a professional and honest approach. She provided another site to see if it was closer to the budget allowed and it was. Brittany saved us a significant amount of time looking around places that would be out of the budget or needed work if moving in. As a resident here for 8 years..its been bad at times..new managent, new owners and renovations so much a pain.
But management in the office are getting their act together I think all thanks to Jill.
She is wonderful.The place is looking really nice and great improvements. A home I will always remember.

Getting in touch or having follow through is an absolute nightmare with this property. I moved out May 2nd and still have not recieved my portion of deposit back yet. They originally issues me a check but with someone elses name on it. I made countless attempts to resolve issue and was told over 3 weeks ago a new check would be issued. Still hasnt happened and now we are month 3 since vacating property and have yet to recieve payment. Same thing happened to my sister. Ridiculous and unacceptable. WA state law is 21 days. Hmmm

I had scheduled an appointment to meet with this apartment about an available unit, when I showed up (which is a 30min commute from where I was) they told me they had sold their last unit the night before and nothing would be available until 6 months .... just thought it was totally unprofessional and very annoying they didn't bother to call me the morning of and cancel. the 2 girls who were in the lease offices were far from welcoming anyways and seemed as though it was no big deal that they had wasted my time.

Was looking on apartments.com and found this beautiful place. Came to google to read the reviews but my bubble was bursted due to the two comments saying they couldn’t get a hold of anyone. With that being said, they more than likely are super busy and it’s quite possible due to the place being in high demand. The fact that the management was able to respond to the comments shows good work ethics and that they really try their best to get in contact with everyone that reaches out to them! From the sounds of the complaints on here it seems like complaints that are literally out of the managements

Lack of customer service. Said they will let me know when I get approved to move in on the 17th it’s been 5 days and not hearing back from them. Also tried to get a hold of them multiple times and still nothing back. Took my money and not hearing a word back. Don’t waste your time. Very unprofessional. I’d rather look elsewhere DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

My family and I lived in Royal Oaks Apartments for almost 4 years. The apartment complex is very pet friendly. I loved walking my dog around the apartment complex and always felt very safe, even late at night. I never had a problem getting something fixed in a timely manner and was always able to talk to Teresa (very nice and knowledgeable) or someone else in the main office located next to the nice swimming pool. Honestly, Royal Oaks Apartments was a great place to live, had a great feel, and I personally have great memories of long walks with my dog. Everyone who works at Royal Oaks was very

I have lived in Royal Oaks for almost 15 years and have had the best renting experience ever! I lived in the apartment side of the property for 1.5 years and loved the two bedroom floor plan, huge kitchen, and sturdy construction. I got the opportunity to move into the townhouses the property offers and lived there for 5 years. Again, loved the floor plan and really enjoyed the serene feeling of sitting on my back patio enjoying all the trees and landscaping. I then lived for over 9 years in one of the 7 residential homes the property offers and it was heaven! The house was huge, real fireplace

This is one of the best places we found during our search. This was the only place that felt like home when we walked in the apartment. The apartment was spacious and the rent reasonable. The grounds are well kept and give one an impression of being in a park. The area is quiet, considering it is in Lakewood, and the view from my apartment is great. The response time for any maintenance concerns is quick and the management personnel are very personable.
