I purposely waited for several months before leaving this review. I did so in order to be as accurate as possible.
You can expect a fairly smooth ride here. You will pay a lot more that you should however, considering this is a business we can expect this. Compared to other apartments we have seen this is the most comfortable we have found.
Dealing with the staff up front has always been good. They have always warmly greeted us and did the best they could to answer questions and accommodate. We really appreciate that!

I wish i could give below 1 rating. You are good as long as you are not in little need of changes in the lease and you don't have to deal with management team in leasing office at the community, they are arrogant and don't care your concern even if you are stuck because of their fault. They really need to learn a customer service. Management team is not at all concerned if you are leaving the community and they treat bad. Their own team communicated wrong information but not ready to accept and telling we misunderstood even though giving logical conversation proof of miscommunication and events

I would never recommend anyone to live here. Their mission statement is as follows and the property manager Aly doesn’t live by what the company states is who they are. Lakes edge doesn’t care about its tenants they just care about their bottom line financial gain. One thing I respect about a company is a company that has a healthy balance of being a high performing business but cares about their customers. I moved in 3 months ago and was very unsure how to feel about moving to Florida from New Jersey. Living at Lakes Edge was the BEST experience! The entire staff is Phenomenal (especially Juliana) they make my family and I feel so welcomed to live here and they are super prompt when responding to your needs. The property is beautiful and very well kept and I feel safe here. I LOVE MY NEW HOME!😌❣️🌴

I haven’t even moved into my apartment yet and we are already being lied to… customer service lacks here… and they like to call and harass you to complete all the move in documents and utilities repeatedly… they act as if you don’t have other responsibilities and obligations as well and are working on their time… we’re the customers who will be funding their pay checks… so you would think the would try to provide the best possible customer service…. Not tell lies and constantly call you back to back instead of leaving a message on your cellphone like responsible professionals

Lived here for a few years and the neighborhood is quiet and the residents are very friendly. The neighborhood is well kept, gated, and safe.
The apartment itself is good; appliances were outdated and unit needed some renovating for what we were charged per month, but overall we were very happy living there.
Our issue is with the front office management. Ally and her team are all about the money. They are very friendly and seem like the nicest people until you have an issue; that’s when they give you a deaf ear. As mentioned earlier we stayed here for a few years and always paid on time and

I am happy to live in the best community at the Lake Edge Apartment Sanford Florida for 6 years, The Apartments are beautiful and super comfortable accessible to shopping malls, highways, hospitals, dealerships you have it all within minutes. I really like security the maintenance of green areas. They have an excellent team. The pool is beautiful and its recreation areas are fabulous. Great place to live! Highly recommend! Pet friendly. Good diversity. Reasonably priced. Good and well kept amenities. Friendly office staff. Close to shopping, restaurants, trails, medical, pretty much everything you need. I had a 1BR town home with a garage and loved it. There is ONLY one negative thing that I would say and its the upkeep/monitoring of the trash compactor.

Lake's Edge has been the absolute best rental we've found since we moved to Florida 9 years ago. Olivia has been extremely helpful. All the staff members are friendly and helpful. The complex is well set up, clean and well maintained. And our apartment is awesome! We have the option with our own private garage, and our apartment is so quiet. Having a private entrance and no carpet, along with a screened-in balcony are just a few of my favorite amenities. Pest control is the best I've ever had - NO BUGS EVER. It's very safe here and the neighbors are friendly. I highly recommend.

First off I want to say there more than 4 reviews on this POS greedy business! Just type in apts name and reviews . Let me start off by saying I put in application approved and everything! Move in date was established for the month of May! Which I had already done a month prior! But then a little thing happened ! A epidemic worldwide ! I notified this place and informed them that because of this I didn't feel safe moving in at the time because of this! WARNING! PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!
I have lived here for a year and i have had the worst experience. I moved into my apartment and on the first day i had to tell the front desk that my lights wouldn't turn on (had to replace the whole fixture), AC vents were not working and the cabinets were in really bad shape. I gave the front desk my complaints and not only did they take over a week to fix the issues but they also said that i was being picky. Whenever anything is broken in your apartment they never replace it with anything new all they do is take whatever they need from another apartment
