Solid sushi option in cherry creek. I don't have much experience with Denver sushi scene but I thought was decent vs exceptional.

First of all, if you're looking for some great nigiri deals they have $1.50 a piece until 6 every day. Their speciality rolls are awesome...BUT, this was probably the worst service I've had in a LONG time. There were only four tables with people seated and two servers. We were not even asked what we want to drink until my boyfriend stood up and talked to one of the servers. Then, when it came time to order, the server asked us to flag her when we are ready (we were already ready) and she just walked away. We didn't see her for another 15 minutes (we then saw she was putting together

This place is so consistently amazing that we have been going here for years. Their delivery is so fresh that I swear they're making the rolls in the car on the way over to our house! I'm 99% sure they're using the same sushi grade fish as Matsuhisa that is just down the road but 5x more expensive

What do you crave on cold windy nights? For me, I crave a warm bowl of udon and I've decided to give Hasu a try. Hasu offers great assortment of sushi rolls and everyday they have happy hour deals on selected sashimi! I've ordered a nice bowl of udon with a side of salmon, tuna, eel, red snapper, and shrimp sashimi. Definitely worth dining here if you're in search of a good bowl of udon or a reasonably priced sushi spot.

Used to be great, and maybe it still is in house, but they seem to care less about their to go orders. The rolls were loosely rolled and falling apart, avocado was black, cuts were horribly uneven, wasabi was tried out, and the salmon nigiri still had the skin on it and was chewy and hard.

Well, it's not expensive, but my order still seemed overpriced. Krab in the California roll and the futo-maki was a chunk of egg, a chunk of pickle, and a wedge of avocado. Supposed to be finely diced pickle/yam, egg, shredded carrot, spinach, cucumber, and avocado...with a sprinkle of sesame.
I'm not so much angry as I am certain that I won't order here again and wish I'd just eaten a $6 frozen dinner.
I could have gotten much better food (and more of it) for $50.
Not awful, but not worth it.

Sushi was pretty good but this seaweed salad is just embarrassing. I mean straight from the Costco bag for $7??? C'mon!

Amazing sushi, honestly should be 4.7 stars not 4.3. The out of control roll is outstanding!!! Same with the sweetheart roll, the rainbow roll and the sashimi, to die for. Way better pricing than anywhere in Denver and to me just as good and fresh as Sushi Den. My new go to spot, don’t miss it!!!

I received a dirty and ripped menu. The waitress did not understand English and was overwhelmed when I asked for iced green tea.
They no longer have a happy hour and the majority of the restaurant is blocked off to not be used.
It was pretty depressing and disappointing. I hope Hasu gets better again.

Average or below average sushi, even for Denver. Sushi was warm, thinly sliced, not that good or fresh, but still expect to pay Cherry Creek prices. There are better spots within 10 minutes of this place.

We stopped by at Hasu, because it's the only Asian restaurant nearby that's open for July 4th, and are so glad that the first 4 Asian restaurants we wanted to try were closed.

We ordered the Age tofu, 5 different types of rolls, and the tempura udon. Everything was delicious, especially the Out-of-Control and Crazy Dragon rolls. The seared sashimi on the Out of Control roll just added a delicious burst of flavor that made this roll stand out!

Highly recommended.

I got an order for pickup on a rainy day. My bag broke on my 10 min walk home and everything was ruined (I had a beer in the bag that flooded the tray!) I called and they replaced everything free of charge. Great customer service, and the sushi was so fresh and delicious. I'll be going back soon for sure.

I very much enjoy Hasu Sushi. The fish is usually very good (some I don’t like, but it’s personal preference, not an indictment on quality), and the value is there. The portions are very generous compared to similar restaurants in Denver. We’ve ordered from Hasu many times, and the one thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is consistency. I’ve noticed that the variety of their sushi/sashimi combo increases dramatically on weekends. Not necessarily a bad thing, as the floor is still very high. But I find myself ordering mainly on weekends as the quality and selection is just much better

Opted for delivery, so can't vouch for the space but it was good sushi, reasonably priced for 4 rolls. The cherry creek roll had a tasty sauce and the other rolls were pretty standard but also good!

Good sushi menu. They also have complimentary dishes which are good if someone in the party doesn't want sushi. They also had good music. Certain areas of the sitting area are little tight, but if the restaurant isn't full, that won't be a problem.

This is one of our favorite sushi places in Denver! The quality is outstanding and prices are reasonable. We have ordered delivery numerous times since Covid began and have always been extremely satisfied. Our order is always correct and fresh. Highly recommend!

Very tasty sushi, especially the eel. We came in at 4:30 on a weekday and weren't offered a happy hour menu, though we didn't specifically ask. I would just caution anyone coming in expecting happy hour prices that they may not be offering a happy hour promotion at this time.

SO SO SO GOOD. This place is tucked away in Cherry Creek, but the next time you're in the mood for some scrumptious sushi (when are you ever not?!) please come try this place.

Small on the inside, we basically had the whole place to ourselves on a recent Friday night. Everything we ordered was incredible, but I especially recommend the crab cheese wontons, and the Crazy Tuna roll. Even after I was stuffed full, I wanted to keep eating this roll...

On top of it all, the staff was very nice, attentive to our needs, and seem like they're doing the best they can. Support local and try this

Socially distanced indoor dining! This is the first place we've dined in since COVID hit. Servers wear masks and gloves, things smell sanitized, and only a handful of booths are open for seating. Individual soy sauce Ingredients were fresh and I loved the presentation.

Food: agedashi tofu was light and fluffy, a little spice, and flavorful dipping sauce. Would order again.

Phoenix roll - the tuna and salmon were fresh but I personally was not a big fan of the mango sauce.

Soho roll was fresh and tasty, and the soy wrap made it feel extra light.

Spicy scallop sashimi- yum! Came in a

My husband and I were craving Izakaya Den but they were all booked up one weekend. Hasu was an amazing find instead! The atmosphere might not be quite as upscale, especially during Covid where restaurants are dealing the best they can with all the new guidelines. But I was there for the sushi and it did not disappoint!

The kobe beef was so similar to the one I order at Izakaya. The spicy tuna is a classic that I always order but probably my favorite was the shrimp tempura with mango. The savory-sweet flavor explosion was to die for! And I wish I'd taken a picture of their cheese wontons

Ordered takeout here after a long day of moving. Food was on time but the place was pretty empty when I went in to pick up so not sure if they are currently doing dine in.
The restaurant is a little hard to find because it's not super visible from the street. It's down one flight of stairs, and there seems to only be metered parking.
I thought the sushi was pretty good, albeit the rolls were generously covered in sauce. Overall, a solid sushi place.

Hasu offers free delivery within 3 miles so I gave it a try. I placed my order at 5:00 on a Saturday evening and even though it took about an hour, I was happy that the driver called to apologize for the delay and let me know it would be another 10 minutes.
1) Tom Yum Soup - By far my favorite thing I ordered. Flavorful broth and loaded with vegetables and shrimp.
2) California Roll - Good. The pieces were kind of small but it was well rolled.
3) Spiderman Roll - The menu description sounded great but I was disappointed. The fried component was not "soft shell crab" which didn&apos

It's quarantine time. It was Mother's Day. Mama wanted some sushi so I did a quick search while out on an errand and came across this place. Most importantly besides the reviews were the vast array of rolls they offered.

Based on my wife's taste, I went with the Phoenix, Mummy and Crazy Tuna Roll.

The Phoenix had salmon on the outside and inside and also tuna on the inside. The mummy roll had tuna on the inside and jalapenos on the outside. Finally, CTR had spicy tuna and avocado inside while the outside featured black pepper tuna, which really influenced the taste of the roll

This was a cute little sushi spot in cherry creek downstairs. They have a great sushi happy hour for drinks , food, appetizers etc... the service was very quick we where also the only people in the building.
We got the hot green tea which was very good! The ginger dressing on the salad was so good I could've drank it like a soup. The soup was VERY VERY SALTY. I didn't even finish I took a few sips and was done. A little disappointed we weren't asked why we didn't finish or take it off the bill. The sushi was so good! The visual presentation was awesome too. I was also a little
