Keep in mind every house is unique which means every inspection is unique. For example the inspection of a new studio apartment is different from an inspection of a 5 bedroom, 2 story home. Our prices are based on the size and age of the property and any environmental testing the customer wants to include.
The short answer is you do! The US Department of Housing and Urban Development recommends that all homes be inspected by a licensed inspector before the purchase of a home. You may have heard the term 'BUYER BEWARE!' A pre-purchase inspection may reveal potential problems that can be very costly. The trained and experienced eyes of an independent and objective home inspector can uncover these problems during routine inspections.

We had EGA Home Inspection for our new home purchase in May 2017. We are so happy with Anthony and the inspection. Anthony, brings all best qualities of US Marine as professional home inspector. He's extremely professional, with high attention to detail. His report highlights important issues. Anthony gave walk through after initial inspection to show things that may not be relevant to house inspection but something to keep an eye on as home owner. As a first time home buyer making a significant investment into a newly renovated home we needed to be 100% sure that everything was in good working order. The home was affected by Sandy and we were nervous about the inspection process overall. Anthony was very responsive, and flexible with our hectic work schedules to accommodate a time that worked for us. He was punctual and did a very thorough inspection of the house. Anthony was very professional, I chose him because of his vast knowledge for inspecting houses that might have old damage from hurricane Sandy. He was very thorough with his inspection.
