After working for some time in the powder coating industry, Jay concluded that there was a future market for a smaller, more customized powder coating shop. It wasn't cost effective for large production facilities to produce prototypes, smaller runs or custom batches. So, Jay took his formal training and experience in the commercial finishing industry and set up a shop designed to capture a niche market: dealing directly with the end user.
20+ years later, PRO-TEK has powder coated thousands of different parts. Great customer service! Pro-Tek just did a set of wheels for me and they were excellent about communication despite being completely swamped at their shop. The pricing was as good or better than any place I could find. They were able to take a set of ruined wheels and give them a second life. Thank you, I will be back!
