Services
Anti-Reflective (AR) or no-glare coating is an important addition to your eyewear. Not only does it help reduce eyestrain caused by glare and reflections from the computer, tablet, and phone screens, it also diminishes glares from incoming traffic lights at night. We even offer a special type of no-glare coating that protects against harmful blue light wavelengths to help prevent eye strain and eye fatigue for screen users.
Your medical and vision insurance may help cover costs of your eye care and eye wear. Vision care plans only cover routine wellness exams for glasses and help with cost of purchasing materials. They do not cover diagnosis, management, or treatment of eye diseases. If you have any medical conditions relating to your vision such as headaches, floaters, dry eyes, cataracts, diabetes, etc., your medical insurance will be used.

Such a wonderful experience. Dr. Chen always recognizes me and my family.. She takes the time to explain any changes and asks if I have any questions. She is a delight! The equipment seems start of the art. The staff is very aware of keeping everything clean and pristine. Insurance is no problem. If you are looking for eye care, please get an appointment. You will be glad you did.

How been going to this location for several years. Dr. Lily Chen is an excellent optometrist. Went back today to pick up a new order of prescription glasses. In the past, a staff assistant was careful to check the fit and make any adustments, if needed. Not sure if the person who was answering the phone and assisting me was trained to provide the final check with the customer or not. The glasses are fine; just would have appreciated a more careful review when turning the glasses over to me.

Dr Chen spent much more time with me than any other eye doctor I have ever seen. Her staff was helpful too. This practice has the personal care toward the patient that is lost in most every other doctor’s office. Dr Chen and her staff performed all the regular tests and went over the results very thoroughly, and then they helped me pick out glasses. Thanks to Dr Chen and her staff for showing that they care about people.

I went to this location for an eye exam and Dr. Chen was so awesome!! She was very knowledgeable, careful, and compassionate. Her attention to detail was phenomenal. She made sure I understood what I was hearing, and intensively checked for abnormal signs in my eyes while still remained to explain everything back to me always.

My experience at EyeCare About Eyes was great, the staff was very pleasant! Felicia Lily Chen, OD was excellent, she took her time with my eye exam and explained my retinal examination results in detail from the optic disk to the blood vessels. Felicia, OD was genuinely kind and wanted to be sure she addressed all my concerns, which she did! I felt very welcomed and I’m thankful to have had such a pleasant experience.

Today, I am SO excited to share my eye experience with you guys. So every year, I visit this amazing eye doctor in Burke, VA (that’s at least 6.5hrs away from my hometown,) to get my eyes checked AND to pick out new frames. Yay- so exciting, right!! I value Dr. Lily Chen’s knowledge and trust in helping me to choose a good pair of glasses, or two, for my eyes. I can always trust her opinion on whether the glasses are a good fit.
