Threading is a hair removal technique that uses 100% cotton thread. The cotton thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hairs in the thread, which are then lifted quickly from the follicle. It is more precise than waxing and allows for better lines. Eyebrow Threading is a practice of shaping the eyebrows.
Pooja Verma, owner of Pooja Salon always wanted to open her own salon. She attended cosmetology school in New York and worked in several Upscale Salons perfecting her craft. In 2004, she opened a salon in Levittown. The Pooja Salon offers an array of services including Waxing, Facials, Haircuts, Hair Coloring as well as Henna Tattoos.

Honestly came here after reading the reviews that the threading here wasn’t so painful and very clean. Absolutely opposite. Lady who’s the owner was rude as soon as I walked in. Her threading was slow which made every hair she threaded so painful. Messed up the beautiful shape I had to a furry looking straight line. Not clean at all. I do not recommend

Poojas Salon is the best! The salon is clean and the women are so nice. They listen to your requests and do amazing eyebrow threading! I’ve been getting my eyebrows tinted too and I love the way it looks! They always email me coupons and I find the prices to be reasonable. I highly recommend!

Usually my go-to favorite place for eyebrow threading but the last two times I've been there haven't been good!
I think there is a new woman and the last two times I went for threading, she cut my lid. I also feel like they're unfinished. If you see the picture I posted of my eye, you can see that she didn't finish the top of my brow. I was unhappy with it and wanted to go back but my eye lids went through enough pain for one day! Not sure if i'll be back.

I went here because I couldn't get to my regular threading place. The reviews were good so I thought it would be ok. The worst threading of my eyebrows EVER. I was literally in the chair 3 minutes. Had to tell her to come back, after she walked away, to show her what she had missed. Looking at my eyebrows today under better lighting, I'm upset that I paid for Nothing! No shaping, nothing!! Don't waste your time or money!

POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES! This was my first time at the salon. If you check in on yelp, you get a dollar off a service. Well, when I showed the woman the check in deal, and then "checked in," She said, "I don't see what you're talking about. We have no such thing." She then spoke to her co-worker in another language. She would not take the dollar off. PENNY WISE BUT POUND FOOLISH. Don't attempt to use the yelp check in deal here! It's not about the dollar, it's the principle and poor customer service.

Just moved in the neighborhood & needed a good place for my eyebrows since it's been a month!
Pros: Pretti was really quick, friendly & did a great job.
Cons: parking is limited to 3 spots & it was much costlier ($9 with tip) than what I usually pay ($5 with tip). Not sure if I'd return but the work was quick & good.

One of the ladies who did my eyebrows deliberately took off more of my eyebrow when I asked her to correct something. Her intentions were very clear as she showed no remorse and even seemed a bit amused by her actions. One of the higher ups came to see what was going on and defended the intentions behind her employee. Do not go here if you want someone who genuinely cares about your satisfaction or input. I can't remember the woman's name, but she is short and stubby.
