Services
There is always time to take care of yourself with the Express Pedicure which includes callous removal and cuticle cut. No hot towel or massage. The Regular Spa Pedicure includes callous removal, cuticle cut, pedi scrub, cooling gel, lotion, a relaxing hot towel and massage. Our Mandarin Honey Pedicure will leave you with soft looking legs.
I went to Galaxy while in the area on vacation, and couldn't have been happier with the service, setting and results of my manicure! My mother, who lives here, said they opened not long ago, and there was still a Grand Opening sign up. The setting is very clean and restful; televisions were set to calming nature scenes (beats noisy talk shows, soaps or strident news programs).

My experience from the spa was mixed, my nail technician was thoughtful, did their best. I left with a floral design, even though (prior, on the phone) I asked for cheetah print. They do designs with stickers; not by hand, but charge like they painted it. I wouldn't mind bc what I got was pretty, but they should've charged me less their because they could not do what I made the appointment for. I feel they took advantage of me because it came out nice, but they didn't care how they messed up. so I don't agree to come back and pay an artist rate to them.

First of all i go here to get an acrylic fill. I asked for coffin shape. They were horribly mishapen, nails were different lengths and the nail polish was all over my cuticles. The owner says come back well re do them no charge I said okay after having spent $40 on nails I absolutely hated. I go back he does them again shapes them okay not as bad as last time but he forgot to put top coat. Now my nails r getting lint and everything else attached to them and look horrible once again. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt but this was just what I needed to say I will never be back!

Had a few bad experiences here. Went a few days ago to get a manicure and pedicure. While getting my pedicure the guy forgot to scrub my feet and clean my nails. When I said to him hey you forgot to scrub my feet and clean my nails he laughed at me. I told the staff at the front counter and they said well don't tip him. I paid for my services and left. I reached out the company again and no response.

My nail artist was terrible. I could tell that she was rushing through everything. She barely massaged my feet and barely cut or shaped my toenails. To make things worse she was constantly texting someone throughout my pedicure, stopping to get on her phone. Then in the middle of painting my toes she answered the phone and continued to talk on the phone to what sounded like her boyfriend for the remainder of the time! I will not be coming back here and I highly recommend that you do no come here! My whole pedicure took maybe 15 min and she only put on ONE coat of paint and no clear coat. Huge waste

I have been coming to essence salon for about a month and a half on the recommendation of coworkers. I have been utilizing other places for the last few years. My first visit to essence was very good. My nails looked great. My second and third visit were just OK. But last week I was in and David did my nails. He noticed that my nails were not up to par, and he inquired to who did them previously. He spent time making sure the shape is correct, and my polish was flawless. I will continue to come here but I will only see David

Not happy with the service today at all....came in at 6 for pedicures and was done by 6:22, no massages for 25 dollars, but still gave 3 dollar tips. We should have left none. I guess Ken and Alicia where tired and wanted to go home. Not friendly at all and started arguing on who was going to take us both for a pedicures. This does not make for a regular customers at all. The only thing going was the chairs, but frankly there's so many nail saloons to choose from, this will not be ours again. Owners need to pay attention

I went early in the morning to get my nails filled, they had been done at a different place I ended up not liking and I came here to see if I liked how they did my nails and I absolutely loved it! The person who attended me is Steven and he is very kind and made my nails better than how they were before. I will definitely be coming again

Pretty sure I've had a better polish from my 5yr old niece, and this was after I asked the tech to fix my nails. I'm new to the area and chose the salon closest to me w decent reviews. The whole time the he tried to upsell me on "gel" or "The dip". I've learned my lesson to start w the least expensive because I'm tired of wasting $ on poor service. This was a test and this salon failed. The lady at the desk who I assume is the owner saw that I had an issue yet never once asked if everything was ok as I was leaving.

I was actually unhappy with the quality of service. Kelly seems disinterested and barely cleaned under my nails. She used a rough file and I had such rough edges that I tried using the file to do a better job. It was later in the day and there was a lot of available staff sitting around.
I really dislike salons where they talk in their native language right in front of you. Although this is done in a lot of salons, I notice they do that here too. Is this just me, or is that inconsiderate?

This has to be the worst nail salon I have ever been to. Staff is so robot like, they didnt approach me in a friendly way when I came in. I had 2x male nail techs both times I came in and never said a word to me while they were doing my nails either times not friendly or personable. I got burned several times by the nail tools . The gel nails that are suppose to last 2 wks lasted only 4 days I went back to get them fixed and rebroke again in 2 days.
I thought this place would be good due due the ratings. I give it a thumbs down!!!!!

I have lived in Port Charlotte for 6 months. I have tried two other nail places and this is far superior....They take amazing care of you. They have a large selection of different pedicures they can do and they are all well worth it. The best thing they do is line the tub of the pedicure chair with a large plastic bag so you are ensured that you will get a clean germ free pedicure.
