We took our 69 Mercury for an estimate and to be restored after a long time of being out of service. I should be done better homework before chosing Hard Core Hot Rods take care of this. A lot of the 1 and 2 star reviews are similiar to our experience. We cut ties before they bled us of more money.
They stated the estimate would be $1000 to look at the car. Understanding that this job would take a long time we did not push them, however, they had the car one month before even looking at it. After gasping at their $30K estimate that had many holes, my intuition told me we would have

I've been taking my 2007 Jeep Sahara here whenever I have an issue. Replaced the steering stabilizer, new rotors and brakes, and they have a reupholstering department and just fixed a hole in my driver's seat. Definitely recommend these guys. The owner Alfredo gets it done, and the guys working on the vehicles know what their doing and are super helpful and experienced. Will be taking my Jeep here for anything in the future.

Read all reviews with 1 or 2 stars. That's what I got. 50,000 dollars to convert my 1967 Mustang Convertible from 6 cylinder to V8. Lied to repeatedly, had to spend thousands on repairs after work and got NO paperwork. I have them caught in lies but believe GOD will take of that POS Alfredo. By the way, if you quote my review, he'll tell you, "oh, that guy, he was on drugs most of the time he was in here", or "he was a nutball that.......blah, blah, blah." Don't believe me, go there.

Excellent customer service and competitive prices. My husband brings both of our cars to Hardcore Hot Rods and he would not go anywhere else. A number of places that he tried in the past often times could not find parts for our cars. Or they would be super expensive. Hardcore knows how to get the parts and very quickly at that. If you have an old hot rod or even a modern car, Hardcore Hot Rods is the place to go.

Excellent and professional service. The employees are nice and they all know and have a huge passion for old cars. I have a 65 mustang, which I inherited from my father. I initially didn't have much interest but after getting it fixed up and learning about all the wonderful things about mustang, I love it. How could I not. I've gone to other hot rod places and they didn't have that passion. I highly recommend these guys. They rock!

Hardcore Hot Rods saved my car and saved me money. I had been to three other shops where my car sat for long periods of time and then they tell me that they didn't have the parts. A friend of mine told me about Hardcore and so when I called them up and asked for the parts, they said, give us a day and voila! After I brought my car in, it took only a day and now I"m good. Now that is great service. I will not go anywhere else.

Never do business with these people. Very sleazy owner who will try to get the most out of a sale by creating false reasons to charge extra. They will purposely not work on your car to come up with even more reasons why they need more money and time. Worst restoration shop in Virginia and maybe even in the United States. Save yourself some trouble and don't make the same mistake I did.

What can I say, these guys are awesome. A few years ago, my great uncle left me his 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It sounded horrible and I barely could start it. I know very little about older cars, so I asked a good friend of mine, who has an old mustang and he highly recommended Hardcore Hot Rods. Less then a week in the shop, she was good as new. Now, I'm excited to drive my red beauty around and perhaps attend some car shows this summer. I'm happy!

I frequent car shows and a good friend of mine recommended Hardcore Hot Rods. I was tired of getting the run around for my mustang. I can do the basics on her but other stuff is way out of my hands. After bringing her in, I found out that they do motorcycles and choppers too, so I brought in my HD 48 shortly after. Both my vehicles are now purring like kittens. I'm very, very happy and in the next month or so, I plan to bring my mustang (Baby Jane) back to get painted. They do an excellent paint job, like no others. I've seen their work and wow! Very impressive, probably the best around!

Do not send your car to this shop. The owner (Alredo if I remember correctly) is a fast talking used car salesman who acts like he's your best friend and charges you insanely for poor poor poor quality work. I cannot begin to explain how disappointed I was when I finally got my car home. The paint work was very flawed, the engine didn't run any better, they damaged my wheels, the AC wouldn't blow cold air (5K spent) and the owner will forget you exist once he gets your money. I highly regret taking my car there. Don't waste your time.

Alfredo and team did an outstanding job restoring our unique and unconventional vehicle on an accelerated timeline. It is running great and was delivered with all the bells and whistles requested. We invested the resources required to get the desired result. Good work is an investment, but will save you money in the long run. The shop also has a very solid eye for style and authentic design for antique vehicles. We will use them again.

If I could, I would give them zero stars. As the other reviewers have stated, the owner is a con artist, at the very least, a thief and unethical "business" man at the worst. He talks a great game and will promise the moon but delivers less and, as one reviewer stated, returns the car - after much prompting, many unanswered calls, and many empty promises - in worse condition than it was when they took it in. In my case, I had them do a significant amount of body work and a total paint job on a classic car. The work was supposed to take no more than 2 months but, instead, took nearly

I cannot say enough about Hardcore on the restoration job on my mom's 1966 Mustang Convertible GT.......
My brother and I purchased the car as a gift for her 75th birthday. It was the car that my father purchased for her when they returned back to the states after being stationed in Germany. Unfortunately, they had no choice but to sell the car once they started a family - I guess the rest is history. He always talked about buying her another convertible GT, but I guess it was never in the cards after putting us through college. Once he passed I told my brother we would find mom a red on white

This is a shout out to Hardcore Hotrods/Coppers for the great work that you did on my special project. This was a rifle stock. Yes that’s right a rifle stock. They didn’t have to take on the job but this shows that this group of people/ team is on how they are customer oriented and good enough to take on crazy jobs. I shoot in NRA competition and was looking for a place to provide me with a custom paint for my stock. I could have taken the stock to any paint shop but I researched and found these guys. Yes I read about them and some negative reviews but I got to say it’s ALL subjective. The

My 69 Skylark 350 needed some help for a while now, but I finally reached a breaking point and decided to have some professional work done. It’s been in the family since new, so I was VERY careful selecting a shop. After a visit and tour with the owner, I dropped off the car that day. They gave me a detailed report and some options depending on just how far I wanted to go. Ended up fixing some of the frame/door alignment issues, swapping the carb with a more modern edelbrock, and upgrading most of the cooling system that was giving me issues.
The 350 runs better than ever and I finally feel

I've had nothing but great experiences from Hardcore Hotrod's and from Alfredo himself. I've had my Impala in there on a few occasions, been to a customer party or two, talked with other customers, and their employees'. Everyone has been honest and professional. Hardcore Hotrod's diagnosed and solved an engine problem in one day that three other shops could not solve, including a "Highly Qualified" dealership. Then they were able to modify my specialty computer program when no one would touch it, including the shop in California that wrote it. Every other time I've been to Hardcore Hotrod's, the

Avoid this shop like the plague, I took my car in for a few repairs and a paint job, the biggest mistake I made with my car, when I got it back it had ABOUT 20 MORE PROBLEMS than when I took it in. After finally finding the owner after many trips to the shop HE pretended he did not know anything about the additional problems and damages cause by his shop, and He refused to correct all the problems stated on the estimate along with the additional damages caused by him and his workers. It was a total waste of time and money. I had to end up taking my car to another shop to correct all the damages

The owner is a snake oil sales person. only cares about how much $$$ he can make out of you. When you first meet Al, he will treat you like a long missed friend; but everything changes after he gets your business (your car in this case) and that you'll regret it everyday I guarantee you that. The business owner is dishonest to say the least.
Go shop somewhere else to save you from a headache. There are many more shops around who are honest, care about fixing your car issues rather than trying everything he can to make more money from you and who won't yell at you when you decide not

After my husband had taken his vehicle to Hardcore Hot Rod for a complete professional re-paint, I decided that I also wanted to have my 2012 Nissan Murano touched up to remedy those small chips and scratches that were most visible. As this car was relatively new and had never been in any type of an accident we felt that this would be an easy task for professional painters. I took the Murano to Hardcore Hot Rod, although in hindsight the major blunder that was committed by us was not waiting to see what the quality of work performed on my husband's vehicle (a mistake we paid dearly for but
