Attention Inboard/Outboard customers. Once your boat arrives it will be serviced in turn. The customer bears all freeze damage risk until KIM fully winterizes the boat as instructed in the work order. 2. Winterize most gas inboard or inboard/outboard engines.
Run on ethanol free fuel, flush, fog, drain block, manifolds and risers, check antifreeze where applicable, spray with anti-corrosive, check fluids, disconnect battery, grease and lube as required $200.00.Anti-freeze not included.

Annual trailer maintenance to keep your trailer in roadworthy condition. Check lighting, wiring harness, check suspension, frame, axle(s), bunks or rollers for rust or cracks, check seals, check wheel bearings for rust, play or noise. Adjust brakes, check and top off brake actuator, lube hitch and winch, check brake break away and safety chains, check tire condition and valve stems, air pressure, and remove, grease and replace lug nuts.

Our experience at Kent Island Marine was excellent. We have an aging boat that required expert attention. While I live 7 hours away, I could tell through the whole process that our boat was in great hands with John. We were always updated with progress made, and informed of options. I am in the market for a used boat and having found a nice one--on the surface--I brought it to John at KI Marine to give me an unbiased assessment of the mechanical condition and running gear. I knew it ran as I sea-trialed it earlier in the day with the owner.
John called me the same day we dropped it off, gave me very specific details about the motor, shaft, steering, trailer, and found some serious items that needed immediate attention and would have cost me thousands

Kent Island Marine Service has maintained our 22' pocket cruiser for the last 6 years. Before discovering them we had been frustrated by engine problems due to the ethanol in the gas, leaks in the gas feed, etc. John and Tod worked diligently to correct the problems, while also teaching us the proper care and feeding of our boat and motor. Thanks to them we have just finished a totally problem free season of boating and look forward to many more with them servicing our boat.

I have had John and Todd service my 2 boats for the last 5 years. Prior to that I used either the dealer I bought one boat from or a bevy of other reasonably good boat service outfits.
