Breed restrictions: absolutely archaic policy. Discrimination against tenants and their pets based on things that are outside of their control is never okay. Very disappointed to learn that an apartment complex that seems to be so people and dog friendly is actually not very friendly at all. A sweet dog is a sweet dog. I even offered a letter from our local veterinarian that discusses the non-aggressive and docile nature of our pet, but the complex was not interested in hearing any of that. Best of luck to you all, but please change your policy if you wish to be as accommodating as you claim to

I moved in about a year and a half ago from a large home. It has been an adjustment, but I am glad this is where I chose to be. We have had some issues, but they are there on a dime, when needed. The personnel is amazing, and I don't think there is anything Alexia wouldn't do to make sure you are happy! What they lack in parking is made up for in service excellence!

We LOVE Westwinds! It has been the best experience from the first tour to now having lived here a Month. Management is so helpful, kind, and prompt. Our apartment is beautiful and well maintained. Maintenance is also very professional and comes out quickly. The community amenities are amazing and our dog loves it here too. Very happy residents and plan to stay a long time!

We moved in during the month of March and love living here! The staff is friendly and helpful, the grounds are cleaned and maintained daily, and they have great amenities for our pets! We especially love being so close to Annapolis, the Bay Bridge and DC. The maintenance staff is prompt in responding to any unit issues. Our unit is spacious and bright, with tons of natural light. The daily trash service is an extra bonus we love! We're very happy with Westwinds and would highly recommend them.

I absolutely LOVE living here! What sold me was the high-end irrigated dog park for my therapy dog! We pet parents love meeting up with one another and sharing stories while our furry friends enjoy a fenced in, clean play area.
The front office family is SO nice and knows everyone by name (or as the parent of your pet). I love that you feel like family here- this isn’t just a place to live, we really try to embrace that community feel 😁

I feel like most people only leave reviews for apartments based on an excellent experience or a poor experience- not just because! Regardless, my husband and I have had a great time living at Westwinds. Our actual apartment is fairly basic for the amount we spend, but we haven't opted to have the kitchen or bathrooms renovated for an extra monthly fee, which is an option as a resident. Our apartment is so homey and despite it feeling basic, it works for us. I love the location of Westwinds. It's a mile from downtown and close to all the grocery stores and parks. There is a reason why I have lived here for 7 years! This apartment complex is a great bang for your buck. While I am disappointed in the recent removal of the teacher discount, they still offer a great place to live for a reasonable cost. The complex is not a bad walk to the downtown dock area. The maintenance staff is very friendly and respond quickly to any requests. I do feel like the office staff knows who I am and values me as a resident.
