Every apartment is cleaned, painted, and has the carper cleaned or replaced prior to move-in. The Property Manager also inspects each unit before it is deemed ready. You can go online and submit a service request, or contact the leasing office to submit a request. Emergency Maintenance is available for after office hours.

My boyfriend and I have lived here for a year now and I can honestly say I couldn’t ask for a better apartment community to live in. I’m very thankful to have found this place! The apartments are spacious, and the in unit washer and dryer are definitely what sold me in the first place. Maintenance has always been on top of things when needed. It’s quiet, safe, clean and located in a great spot in Portage. I would recommend Foxwood to anyone! Rent is a little pricey but you get what you pay for! Will definitely be resigning a lease once ours is up.

Been living as a resident for 2 years. Maintenance is slow. Oven repairs weren't high priority to them, neither were electrical issues. Exterior's aren't well maintained either. Stains on roads and driveways, false accusations, lawn care rips up the grass and fake people. The high end price does not reflect a high end neighborhood. Interiors are clear where corners were cut. They don't even give you any benefits for being a long term tenant. Except Rent going up.

The apartment itself is nice, and set in a quiet location. I'm not sure I would say it is worth the cost of rent, though (which progressively increases every year). If you want internet, you're only allowed one option, which is expensive and slow. If you have the extra money, it's a fine spot. Otherwise, there are comparable and more affordable options.

This seemed like the perfect place to live for me and my family but my application was denied. They expect you to have a near perfect credit history and even if you try to explain they won't help you. So ask for the credit requirements before you apply and make sure you meet them or else you'll be out the application fee ($40 bucks in my case).

I've been a resident here for 3 years, and overall I really like it here.
Pros:
Washer/Dryer units are included. Finding an affordable apartment with washer/dryer included is tough.
Maintenance is taken seriously. I received a new ac unit and stove this year. The AC is quiet and works great! Maintenance is friendly and quick to respond.
Staff - Really friendly. Management recently changed, but I very rarely have problems, so this hasn't impacted me negatively.
Safety - It's a good area and the other residents are nice.
Location - Not in the ghetto. Close to 131 and 94.

I just spoke with Brenda on this day 8, August 2019 I was calling from DENVER, Colorado and she was amazing on answering all of the questions I had for her. My husband Dave and myself are looking to relocate to Michigan I came across this apartment complex on the internet with very good reviews looked at the pictures of the place and think this just might be the right place for us. Hopefully we should be the by the end of February 2020.

Overall Opinion:
The quality of living and customer and maintenance support is well below par based on the cost of living in the complex. You would be better off paying a mortgage.
Pros:
- Convenient location to 131 and 94.
Cons:
- Overall maintenance: I’ve seen renters trimming their own bushes and removing leafs from carports. Snow removal is always an issue and to the point of almost purchasing my own shovel. It appears that staffing is not appropriately organized.
- Unreasonable cost to rent common area/guest room.
- Grills are banned.
- Extended units on the first floor have water

Good place to live. Their community is good. The surrounding places are calm and silent. It is a very safe area to live. The Maintainence is good and very responsive. There are few trails in and around this area. Their security policies are good. We can also request to have a cc can infringe of our home for additional security with and additional monthly charge. I would definitely recommend this place.
