Coppersmith is a dynamic venue serving globally-influenced comfort food in a vintage-industrial warehouse in South Boston. Coppersmith is unlike any other space in Boston. The vintage-industrial setting boasts echoes of an industrial past, retaining aesthetic elements of its former life as the Dahlquist Manufacturing Co (founded in 1894), which specialized in copper fabrication.
You've got the guest list, we've got a Bloody Mary Bar to-go! This is what has been missing from your Sunday Fundays, your football parties, and that baby shower that you really don't want to host (but a strong Bloody Mary would make it slightly more bearable). Our to-go bloody mary bar comes with all the fixins', you just provide the booze!.

We got the breakfast pizza and it was AMAZING! This place has a cool vibe inside too. Definitely good for brunch on a Sunday. Unfortunately, they will be closing in a few days so be sure to get there soon! You will not be disappointed! Our server, Rebecca, was very attentive and the service was quick!

The good:
The brunch burger was surprisingly very good. Juicy burger with a tomato aioli & it came with a size of the crispiest double fried fries. Highly recommend & would come back just for this!
The bad:
The service could be better (most recent bad reviews are about this). I asked for iced coffee & got hot - which isn't a big deal, I didn't say anything. We ordered the chicken & waffles and they brought out French toast.. ended up waited almost until we were done with the burger to get the waffles and didn't get an apology.

Rating for overall service. We walked in trying to sit down for 6 - just getting drinks and apps. No bar spots available. Entire building was empty. We got asked 2 times if we had reservations and we said no. It was 4/5pm on a Thursday. Normally, I would understand. However, we felt the waitstaff was extremely rude and weirded out by our request to just have a few rounds of drinks and apps so we left. Took 4 people to figure it out: No room at the bar to squeeze in. Turned away about $100 worth of customers. One thing if it’s reservation only, but say that. Don’t make it weird/rude.

The atmosphere and some of the food are the only reason this review has a single star. We had a member of our party with a ln allergy, we told the waitress multiple times. When we got our food, the meal undoubtably was smothered in butter. the person in our party got sick, and when we spoke to a manager she tried to fight us on wether or not it had butter on it. She was rude and dismissive. It was a VERY disrespectful way to handle the situation.

The worst establishment I have ever patroned in my life. My friends and I had a reservation for 8:15 PM. When we arrived (on time), we were told that many parties were ahead of us and that 400 reservations had been made for a limited number of tables. We were finally seated around 9:30 and did not have a server approach us for over 25 minutes. We had to walk around the restaurant and actively seek out a server to simply get water. The atmosphere is great. All the servers were friendly, but they just took forever for everything. We ordered drinks and they took a while to come out. When they finally did, my boyfriend had a mosquito in his beer. We were sitting outside, so we understood but it took about 15 mins to even get our servers attention. Then another 10 minutes to get a new beer. The drinks were very light. I didn't taste the alcohol at all and certainly didn't feel a buzz after 2 drinks. I recommend getting a beer instead of a drink. They did taste good, but I'm not paying all that money for juice. The food tasted

Coppersmith is one of the restaurants that did really well pre-pandemic, given its beautiful, open space and cool food options. But now, it just seems like there is not enough staff and not enough organization to make it a viable dining option. We made a brunch reservation for 10:00 am on a Saturday. A few minutes before opening time, I could see through the window that only 2 or 3 staff were even present, and they were understandably busy getting the restaurant ready to open. Almost didn't go to this place because it has a 3 1/2 star rating, and really wasn't looking for a mediocre place. I'm glad I decided to go because it's great. Very disappointed. With reservation, took 1 hour to get seated. Then took 30 minutes for water and first look of the server.
Apps - cauliflower was uncooked, chicken wings half cooked
Entree - ran out of chicken-waffle at 1:00pm

The host was incredibly rude, told me there was no tables available and wouldn't accommodate a table for two. I went on open table and booked a reservation for 2 people 15 minutes later, waited for the table and sat down with no problem. The food and drinks are okay. The service brings the rating down for me. Sorry to be a total Karen but that was just not cool.

I read the reviews for this place and saw that people said the service was bad but I still booked my reservation in hopes that those people had their noses a little in the air. I went in with my expectations slightly low but I have to agree that the service was terrible and I am not one to complain. Our waitress was horribly disorganized. Our drinks alone took 20 mins to come and our food took over an hour. I ordered a burger "medium" and I received the pictured burger. The atmosphere has so much potential it is a shame that the service disappointed this much.

A very tasty introduction to this lovely Southie hang out! Went for sunday brunch and had some DIY mimosas to start. Mixed mushroom hash was delicious as was the crispy chicken sandwich! Only complaint is that our waitress was never around and hard to find, but the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful! Loved the overall atmosphere and will definitely be back for their patio.

Great food and great atmosphere! Took a table outside for brunch and was happy with the selection of food that they had. I settled with the shakshuka, and I thought it was ok. I think they use marinera sauce instead of fresh tomatoes as the base of the dish, which was disappointing. But it was filling, and the potatoes that came with the dish were delicious. We made a reservation online. The day of our reservation we got a text message asking to confirm. We looked forward to this outing all day since we hadn't gone to a restaurant in months. When we got to Coppersmith it appeared dark so we checked Google and Coppersmiths website and both said it was open. Low and behold, the doors were locked and it was completely closed. No signs on the doors citing a specific reason, nothing. We drove 30 minutes to not be able to eat dinner and all other restaurants in the area were full. AT LEAST put a banner on your website, change your voicemail, or a sign

It is such a stressful time to go out and dine during covid. This hidden gem is located off a main street. No on site parking. There are street parking in the area. Wait time was a bit long so I suggest getting there early to put your name on the wait list. We sat at the bar and the bartender was lovely. She was so kind and attentive. The individual who served our food left plenty to be desire. The interior of the restaurant is rustic and not like the usual polished look feel. It is more like an after work or game night place.

Very average. The outdoor seating is vast and they've really adapted to the new guidelines. It took a really long time to get the drinks. They come in little jugs and it makes it seem like there isn't much in them. The food was also very fine. I actually loved the Thai boneless wings, the bbq was good too. The chips and guac was very disproportionate. A little tiny thing of guac and the chips weren't that good. If you're looking for somewhere to go to get expensive drinks and very average food this is your place

Wow this place is a Warehousey convert! Now there was a guy singing acoustic guitar upon entering. The place is filled with 20 something year olds I What's really cool is they managed to put a food truck as part of their kitchen where the dining area is. The place is loud loud loud. The acoustics of everybody's conversation is well heard here. It is a very lively place so if you want to socialize and hang out... this is a good place for you especially if you live around the area. There is a place for private parties too.
