What started as a hobby and a creative outlet turned into her passion. The real turning point came a few weeks before her 21st birthday. She wanted a specific cake, so she went searching at all her local bakeries. Most bakeries turned her away, saying they were unable to recreate her design, and others said they would attempt it but it would come with a very costly price.
The best way to start the process is to send an email from the contact page. Please have the basic information ready when inquiring. Important details to include are your name, phone number, email, number of guests, cake flavor and filling (which you can find under menu), delivery address if being delivered, and any additional pictures or inspiration you have.

I cannot say enough about Chubby Cheek Cakes. I was lucky enough to come across some photos on Instagram and had Laura make my daughters first birthday cake and cookies. 'One in a melon theme.' Not only were the cake and cookies absolutely beautiful, but tasted amazing too!!

This was my first time ordering from Chubby Cheek Cakes, and wow I was blown away at how beautiful and clean it came out. Not only that, but the owner was so professional, kind, and communicative. There was a variety of flavors and toppings to choose from, and the price was great and reasonable! Thank you so much for the beautiful cake! I'll definitely be ordering again every year :)

I always have detailed specific requests for my orders and she always exceeds my expectations. First order was I asked her to make Chanel-inspired cupcakes. She knocked that right off the park. So beautiful. Second order, I asked for Animal Crossing cupcakes. She was able to make it soooo pretty and gorgeous! What's great about her is that I ask for certain things to put on the cupcakes and she's able to do it so well.
Everyone at the party loved the cupcakes and could not stop talking about it.

Laura is the best! My boyfriend wanted a cake for his 30th that looked cool but tasted great too! After trying one of her cakes at a friends birthday we decided she was the one to make his cake too. She did such a phenomenal job!! I was very impressed, not just with the way the cake looked, but her customer service as well. She's easy to work with and very sweet. Since we were traveling with the cake she gave me very detailed instructions on how to care for it on the drive and how to assemble a few things once we were ready for the party. Ok, where do I begin?? I ordered cupcakes for Easter, and had them delivered! The cupcakes were just amazing, delivered on time and of course Laura the owner is the sweetest person ever!! Hands down the best cake and cupcakes I've ever tasted! Laura is not only a great baker, but also an amazing artist who can pretty much make any idea you have a reality. The first time I worked with Laura, she created a black on black two tier Victorian-esq cake for my birthday. It was a complete showstopper that tasted as good as it looked. Most recently, she created a dozen cupcakes for a friend's bridal shower with a til death do us part theme. Once again, she outdid herself and created the moistest chocolate cupcakes with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting- all topped worth

I ordered a cake for my girlfriend's 30th birthday, and Laura definitely delivered a masterpiece! It was such a great fit for the theme of the party, my gf was so blown away with her favorite hot sauce in cake form! When the cake was brought out, everyone immediately grabbed their phones to snap pics and videos, it was a total hit! The level of detail on the bottle, everything was so perfectly legible I still don't know how she did it. Working with Laura was a breeze. I told her what I wanted ( a rustic naked wedding cake) and boy did she deliver! She made an amazingly delicious blueberry naked cake. I hadn't even thought of blueberry as a flavor but it looked and tasted gorgeous.
I was set on using the topper I made, she would have provided otherwise. She knew we we're doing succulents for our outdoor venue instead of flowers and she added them to our cake design.

Wow! Laura is a master at what she does! All I had to do was send her an inspo pic and she made the cake come to life! Delivery was offered and thank goodness for that! I initially found Laura via Yelp a few years ago when I needed a custom cake for my boyfriend's (now husband's) 40th birthday. The design required a lot of detail work and was based on a vintage synthesizer (something that Laura was totally unfamiliar with). But despite that, she created a cake that was incredible and more than I had hoped for. I asked her for business cards so we could lay them out next to the cake because I loved it so much. Photos ended up online and and were reposted everywhere. Oh yeah, and it tasted amazing and we ate the leftovers for a week.
