Budget Air Supply was a simple idea back in 2008 when the owner of the company was looking to repair his 8yr old air conditioner at his home in Davenport, Florida. He called a seven different A/C repair companies to come out to give an estimate on the repair of his unit. Out of the seven, only two called back.
He scheduled both to come out to give an estimate but, only one company showed up for the appointment. The one that showed up said the 8yr old system was not worth repairing and that he needed a whole new a/c system. The estimated cost of the new system was nearly half of his annual salary and he refused to go ahead with the replacement.

Do not buy from these people they are another non stocking AC "dealership" working out of a locked warehousing storefront with no inventory in hand.
They do not stock or have the items the sell, they reorder then and leave you wait. We paid for a new AC unit up front and it's gone from "24 hours" to "we don't know". When you demand a answer it's "please hold" for 45 minutes. A week later "well refund your money".
Expect to be held hostage and lied to about it!!!
***Update... As suspected 6 days later into the order and a dozen phone calls and being hung up on the "24 hour" order will be another

Received an email when the order was being filled.
Received another email with the packing slip.
Received a call saying when it will be delivered.
Fantastic service. Never a moment when I didn’t know at what point my order as at. Has to be the best online purchase I have ever made. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

I would highly discourage anyone from buying anything from Budget Air if you expect any service after the sale. My 10 month old heat pump failed after 10 months due to a problem with the reversing valve. Even though I complied with all their policies, they refused to send the replacement parts. Here's an excerpt or my communication with them... evidently I'm not a "good customer"

I wish I could give a negative to this company. I wanted to purchase a Goodman unit. I now wished I had select another company. The sales department was not very responsive or helpful during the install. I'm a snowbird and was not here during the installation and friend handle the install for me. A month after the install and I came to check the new unit. Yes I knew the unit was working fine. But I did not know they during the installation the installers capped the my main water line to the house and placed the pad over the line. I had to have my main water line into the house

This is what customer service looks like! I cannot fathom a less than sterling review of these wonderful people: antisocial pathologies perhaps. Budget Air Supply is a rare jewel: timely, earnest, and clear communication; thorough knowledge of their trade; and they will bend over backwards to solve any issue...without prodding. This kind of integrity is unheard of these days, and the peace of mind it fosters is priceless. I'd never go anywhere else.

Purchased my Goodman heat pump unit about a year ago and had them install a programmable thermostat - one that allows for temp inputs for different times of day and also switches from heat to cool as required. About a month ago my thermostat started acting wacky and I called to request service.
The very nice service technician said the thermostats made to switch from heat to cool automatically did not operate very well. He said in order to make it work and maintain at least the programmable settings from heat to cool, he would have to disable the auto heat/cool function. I thought this odd, but

Horrible owners Amanda and Butch! Ordered A/C unit and Air Handler. Saved on shipping because I was able to pick up units at the Las Vegas warehouse.
The man who loaded the air handler in my pick up truck was an idiot and did not know what he was doing! I am a senior citizen and EXPECT the loader, Manny to have a CLUE about how he put yup the units in the truck. Manny put the air handler in an upright position in the back of my small pick up truck. Upright, like a refrigerator. Manny loaded the air handler with a fork lift.

Ordered an electric heat strip that was confirmed to be in stock.. needed the item for an inspection the following week. nothing ever shipped . no phone call. i called them to find out where the part was, after a long wait on hold, i was told i would get a call back to find my order. no call back. i called again and was told they would refund my money.
