Experienced, confidential and professional help. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in San Jose, I work with individuals, couples, children and families who are struggling with the stresses and relationships of life. My goal is to provide clients with a safe place to talk freely, sort through problems and examine behavior.

Together we work to strengthen communication, gain insight, and fix patterns that are no longer working. Whether you're struggling within yourself, your relationships, with your job, or with family it's important to take time to identify your thoughts and feelings; to explore what you can do to improve your situation.
Services
As a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist serving San Jose and surrounding areas for over 25 years, I continue to enjoy helping individuals, couples, children and teens to grow as individuals, strengthen their relationships, and move forward in life.

I have also served as the Clinical Director of the Teen and Family Counseling Center in Campbell, where I gained invaluable experience understanding teens, their stressors today, as well as the pressures on Bay Area families.I have training in treating kids with ADHD and various mood disorders, as well as supporting families struggling to help their children.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative and supportive, confidential and professional relationship with a licensed, trained clinician that aids a client in solving life problems. Psychotherapy is clinically proven to increase an individual's health and well-being.

A therapist's job is to be a hundred percent focused on a client's situation, maintain confidentiality, and apply their clinical skills to help a client learn how to better manage their relationships, stress, moods, hardship, or grief.Psychotherapists employ a range of techniques from talking and rapport building to identifying underlying thoughts, feelings and motivations that lead to problematic interactions with others, feelings and behaviors.
If your teenager daughter behaves in a way that shocks you, don't put her down or shame her. Deal with your negative feelings with someone else first, then approach your teen expressing love and concern. If you think it is serious, inappropriate behavior or are worried about safety or emotional development talk to a professional.
2. Ask your teen to "teach" you something.how to use the internet, texting lingo, set up your ipod, burn a CD, fix your hair, etc. 4. Guy's day out - play ball, go to the batting cages, reptile exhibit, or even Fry's electronics. 5. Declare a once a week "family time" day. Example: from 3 p.m. on Sundays there are no friends, cell phones, computers or electronic games allowed.
