Let me start by saying I am mechanically inclined and know my way under the hood of most vehicles. So I sent my wife to get our jeep inspected and right away they failed me. the diagnostics they gave her was that I have an oil leak and need a serpentine belt replaced. I needed a new tail light which that part was true, I needed my brake fluid flushed and I needed new tires. and that was just to pass inspection. First of all I do not have a leak I went al over the engine and no leaks are present. Yes the engine is covered in oil but that is from when my steering hose broke a while back and I did

Went for service and wait for about 1 hour and half to give you an approximate estimate, telling
Me that they we’re gonna get back to me the next day with a real amount which was over $2000 already and they never did.

Went here for a simple state inspection. After waiting around three hours they finally came back and said I failed due to a break light and rotors and pads needing to be replaced. I was fine with this until they gave me an estimate of $1000 for those three services. I new right off this was way off. I told them I’ll have my husband do the repairs and I’ll come back to get my car inspected again as i already paid for the inspection why would i go somewhere else and pay again. I was told i needed a whole new break light system that i could only get from the dealership which was wayyyyyyy off

Well, for an inspection, they will crawl in, on, and over your vehicle to try and find anything wrong to fail you and fatten up the work order, then offer you this and that financing to pay the bill. I wanted to like this shop, and had plans to source them for major work that was out of my capabilities. The guys in the back are hard working, and the service advisor JR is a silver tongued smoooooth talker, but after having brought both of my vehicles in and having to replace things that either I knew were ok (sway bar end link) or were replaced by me a YEAR and 2 months ago (serpentine belt), it

Got a flat yesterday in a place it couldn't be repaired. Was 3 1/2 hours away from home. These guys were amazing. First they tried to plug the hole and help me get on my way. When the plug wouldn't hold air they got me squared away promptly. On top of that, they put plastic on my seat and steering wheel to keep my car clean. I appreciated everything they did and cannot speak highly enough. 5* HIGHLY RECCOMEND

On January 2nd I brought my vehicle in to get 4 new tires, an alignment, inspection and synthetic oil change. I purposely did not request new brakes or rotors because on November 25th my father Victor and boyfriend Justin replaces all… brakes and rotors. I never received a phone call regarding additional services being done to my vehicle (i.e. brakes and rotors, replacement of engine mount, and replacement of rear windshield wiper). We have been coming here for a few years and we are always taken care of! They are so honest and genuinely care about their customers. My recent visit I had my 1 year old in waiting room and JR changed the tv to put cartoons on for my little one. As she became restless another staff member (a lovely women in the office) came out and offered a snack to my daughter (probably from her own lunch) to keep her occupied. I'm they are great and we will always go back!

So far, this establishment has been excellent. They walked my husband through every issue they found, as well as discussing with him concerns that might come up in the future. They were straightforward and, from what we could tell, honest as far as what we would need to repair our car. These guys don't know tires. Sold me crap tires that I've been having issues with since I bought them - only about 6 months old. I've returned there to correct the issue only to have the issue return. Can't get… above 60 mph without feeling a vibration and a dragging noise. Sounds like I'm about to have a blow out. I have a sports model car, not once did anyone take that into consideration or ask how I drive before selling me the worst tires on the market. They don't even stock the tires at the shop, they have to call them in. Never have I experienced this at any other shops. I would not

I have to say my wife and I have been using them for about 2 yrs..and always great work...today they worked on my old f 150...it wasn't holding a charge and making a weird raffle noise.they put new brakes.changed oil.alternater.and other things.at a great price..plus there team worked late to get my truck back to me so I could get back to work. They r the only mechanic I will ever use...very trust worthy. Thanks again guys..keep up the good work

Hidden gem in the Stroudsburg area, just discovered these guys and they're the real deal. From even before I stepped inside I was greeted courteously and it only got better from there. These guys are thebomb.com. I'm 25, female, and only slightly familiar with the innards of my high-mileage cars. Many mechanics confuse me for a walking *overcharge for unnecessary work* billboard, or act as though my lack of car knowledge implies a general lack of intelligence (ignoring my input or failing to explain their recommendations/work). The guys at Pocono Tire & Brake have been 100% friendly, respectful and fair. We were just starting out a 400-mile drive when the tire pressure light came on -- turns out we had a nail in our tire. We couldn't have asked for better, friendlier, or more efficient service than we received here. They took our car right away, applied a patch to the tire, and we were on our way within 20 minutes.
It's worth noting that we were a family on vacation -- six of us piled into the waiting room, which was clean and comfortable, including he restroom. In this situation, you're always worried about being taken advantage of. Nothing of the sort here. The charge was $15
