My son's car broke down, and we thought i was the transmission, turns out it was the rear drive shaft. The ujoint broke, It took out the shift cable. Joe's communication was outstanding. It was repaired at a great price. I highly recommend. Got it back super fast. The tow company was super nice. Thank you Joe. Ill recommend all my friends and family to come see you.. This place was recommended to rebuild trasmissions, worst mechanic ever to rebuild trasmission.My wifes car has been here 5 times in last 2 months since rebuild.Still hasnt fixed it.Plus last time we had it there he said it wasnt transmission related,well guess what it is transmission related after i took car to gmc dealer to have them diagnose it. NOT TO MENTION THE intial cost of rebuild plus car rental and paying GMC dealer to diagnose the issue.When sworens said it wasnt transmission related they recommended a mechanic down town to fix issue they had no clue other than spark plugs well thats

Joe Sworen took care of my car when I lived in East Stroudsburg many years ago. I introduced my mother to him at that time and she still uses him. She is now 88 years old and the Sworen's treat her like family. It comforts me to know they are there for her no matter what her car needs be. He has kept her current car running for over 15 years. Straight rapped here like hardcore please dont give these ppl any more business ever i literally spent 2000 dollars on a bran new trans and ended up bringing my van back 10 times with issues. Not even three years later my trans mission is shot bearings broke up and the mechanic who looked at her for us said this trans was not done ever and was not new was rebulit i was lied too and cheated out of 2000 dollars never again they should be arrested for what they did to me and close their doors complete complete bs. Id like to give them no stars id give them 5 if they close for good. Theres so much
