Rochelle joined Shaftel law in 2020 after working at a criminal defense and immigration law firm. Rochelle received her bachelor's degree in commercial photography with a minor in journalism from Columbia College Chicago in 2002. Rochelle speaks Spanish, having studied Spanish her entire life and most recently studying Spanish at Universidad Nacional Autnoma de Mxico in Mexico City in 2014.

Matt is extremely patient and helpful to our I-485 applications. He was working so hard to put everything together within just a few weeks last October when the window was open for us to submit I-485. We got our green cards last month. I would recommend Shaftel Law to anyone. First of all, Matthew Shaftel is a great attorney who helped us not only to receive our permanent resident card through the O1 visa case, he also corrected all the mistakes that our previous attorney made and create an entire new strong case. I hired Matt to assist in gaining legal permanent resident status for my Brazilian wife. He explained everything in simple terms to us and offered three choices. After we decided Matt handled all the paperwork and kept us informed throughout the process as to what we could expect next, what documentation we needed and what the timelines were.
