Expressive mind/body psychotherapy for emotional healing, personal growth, and artistic fulfillment. Please Note: I'm being harassed online by one person who wrote many negative reviews of me using aliases. Where possible, I posted replies under the false reviews. You sit there terrified, eyebrows raised, shoulders hunched, belly tight, breath held - until the movie ends and you relax. But what if the scary movie didn't end? What if you lived these experiences all the time? Your tight belly, hunched shoulders, frightened eyes and shallow breathing would become fixed, as your muscles held the memories of your daily trauma.

Bioenergetic Analysis has its origins and history in psychoanalysis, the 'talking cure', created by Sigmund Freud. Wilhelm Reich, Freud's student, saw the effects of early childhood emotional trauma on the minds and bodies of his patients, and developed techniques to open the blocked energy necessary for healthy development.

When our difficulties intrude on the quality of our life, it is time to seek help. In-person sessions are conducted at my office in Nassau County Long Island. I work with adults and teenagers on personal and professional issues and with those seeking to explore and expand their creative expression using Bioenergetic Analysis.
Bioenergetic Analysis, a mind/body psychotherapy, integrates traditional talk therapy with bodywork, giving us a tangible physical and emotional way of healing our psychological wounds. More than a series of exercises or techniques, Bioenergetic Therapy is a powerful, in-depth expressive process that helps us live more passionate, pleasurable and creative lives.
Increasing one's range of self-expression can be a benefit to those interested in artistic expression. However, it can be also of great value in the therapeutic process itself. When we are encouraged to trust our impulses we become free. An effective therapy helps people to be who they are, to express their uniqueness and to trust themselves in words and deeds.

After many years of experiencing issues around stress, confidence and relationships I started working with Ron. It is something I really wish I had embarked on much sooner!
Ron's qualifications in both psychology and psychotherapy spoke to me when looking for someone to work with. Having a science background myself, I wanted to work with someone skilled in an evidenced based approach but also adept in mind-body therapy. Ron has been a wonderful guide on a journey of personal development.
Working with Ron has helped me understand myself better, practice self-compassion, let go of a lot of anger

I thank my lucky stars that I found my way to Ron Panvini's office. Therapy with Ron has been nothing short of life-changing and lifesaving.

My heart was in trouble when I first started seeing Ron. I knew that I needed therapy. I knew that I wasn't seeing my life clearly. I knew that I wasn't achieving my potential. And I knew there was a lot inside of me that I hadn't dealt with. Ron has guided me through the courageous and difficult process of ACTUALLY DOING THE WORK.

If you want to waste your time and your money and never actually do the meaningful work of therapy and

I have been working with Ron on two separate occasions. I came back to work with him after about a year off from formal therapy. I knew I wanted to go back to seek therapeutic healing with him because Ron had really helped me get deeply in touch with my gut, my feelings and away from too much of the analysis that tends to consume me. It has been very positive for me to have talk therapy in conjunction with bodywork exercises to help bridge some connection to my body, something that has been deeply lacking in my life. It's been a process, but through Ron's careful attention, his patience

I’ve been a patient of Ron for the past 2 years. For me this is significant because I’ve had the habit of quitting therapy after about 9 months. I have made positive progress in my thinking and actions.
I am now at the point where I see Ron every other week and will continue as I face new challenges. Ron’s soft-spoken approach has helped me see the situation as he guides me to possible outcomes.

I started seeing Ron many years ago when I was sad and confused about my love relationships. His keen insights and support helped me grow in so many ways, but I think mostly I learned to trust someone finally and got to experience a shining example of a good wise descent person! I was able to grow and take what I learned from that into the world and use the power of it in my personal, business and creative life. I know that Ron is in my corner as we work to unravel all kinds of uncomfortable issues that arise in my life. I am forever grateful for him!

I do not recommend Ron Panvini. In my experience he is very unprofessional and unqualified to help with everyday issues and emotions. I regret the time and money I spent.

I wanted to write a review for Ron Panvini because I know how difficult it is to find a therapist that fits the bill. I had my fair share of experiences with therapists around the world and in NY, many of which came highly recommended. It wasn't until my close friend gave me the green light to give her therapist a shot (I didn't want to impose as therapy is such a personal process) that I began to work with Ron. He was empathetic, kind, intelligent, delicate, and helped immeasurably in exactly what I was hoping for, to feel like an empowered and healthy human being. I was in treatment for a year

Dr Panvini came highly recommended to me, from both friends and colleagues as I anticipated moving from London, England to New York City; and within our first meeting I came to understand their enthusiasm for working with him.
Dr Panvini’s approach helped me to word the unspeakable, bringing together a once fractured body and mind. Our work together enabled me to bring a new found strength and resilience to my future choices and decisions enabling me to move forward to a life that I once thought was not possible. The process was not always easy, bringing with it a mixture of feelings, emotions

I feel compelled to share my 2 cents after reading the other reviews. I found Dr. Panvini online. I wish I had not trusted the hopeful things I read. It took me too long to leave him. It was very difficult to do once I opened up and shared the most vulnerable parts of myself. I wanted to believe he wanted what was best for me. He did not, and I wish I never went to him. He tried to tell me what to do instead of empowering me to make positive choices. He perpetuated negative beliefs by always pointing out the negative and restating things in negative ways. My life outside of therapy got worse the

I just wanted to write this review for anyone out there looking for therapy. It is more difficult than I expected to find a good therapist in NYC that doesn't make you feel like just one more patient. Ron made me feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in every session we had together. His approach to therapy was kind, intelligent, professional and very human. I was going through complicated and painful family issues that were recurring in one way or another. Ron was a huge help. I felt that he was invested in my wellbeing and was mindful of my own perspective of where I was and what I needed
