During our #HomeInHundred 2020 countdown, we received a great letter from Abby B., a CA at Chipinaw. We wanted to share her letter as a message of hope and a reminder of how important the summers we spend at camp together really are. To my Chipinaw family, First, I want to start off by saying. We wanted to share.

Welcome to the spirit of summer, welcome to Camp Chipinaw. It is our hope that you will enjoy exploring our website as you learn all about our summer home. Chipinaw was built specifically as a summer camp for boys in 1926, and 12 years later the girls campus was added. Since that time, Chipinaw has become one of the finest traditional camps in the United States.
Our programs at Camp Chipinaw can only be as good as the people who lead them. That is why we pride ourselves on our wonderful staff of talented counselors, chosen from applicants all over the country and around the world. We look for energetic and responsible individuals who are ready for a summer full of laughter, friendships, and fun.
With over fifty different summer camp activities offered at Chipinaw, campers are always excited about something! We encourage our campers to try all of the activities! As campers get older, we understand that their interests change and that they tend to focus on a specific area like athletics, art, computer graphics, or performing arts.
Scale our climbing wall, soar down the zipline, or challenge your fears on our high and low ropes course. You can also mountain bike and mountain board on our picturesque trails, enjoy s'mores at our overnight campsite, and drop in on the half pipe at our skatepark. These are all activities you can master in our adventure program!
At Chipinaw, campers and counselors live in wooden cabins, sleeping in cozy wooden beds and bunk beds. Each cabin has electricity and hot water and features recently refurbished modern bathrooms and showers. At Chipinaw, our youngest campers live in our specially designed cabins that combine four bunks under one roof to enhance cooperative learning and peer relationships.

Honestly this campus is beautiful and they have amazing activities. HOWEVER do not I REPEAT DO NOT bring your children here!!!! I worked as a counselor this summer and it was quite literally the worst experience of my life. I am still very glad I came because working under Michael Baer and his posse of god awful management taught me so much about how not to treat your employees. I couldn't even begin to describe how terrible this place is. PLEASE trust me when I say this but if you bring your kids here they will come back to you either terrible people or broken. They allow bullying to happen because
