You typically want three things in a mechanic: Straightforward advice, reasonable prices, and on-point service. I can confidently say My Mechanic Joe provided all three when I needed diagnostics run on my Toyota and ensuing repairs were made. Absolutely recommend.

Can’t say enough good things about this shop, friendly from the moment I pulled up, took a look at a previous estimate and cut it to a third. He said “ I’m not in business to cheat people l” the service was fast and when I came to pick up car we talked about Elton John for 15 minutes that’s just a plus! I’m gonna refer him to every person I know.

These people went above and beyond! We were involved in a car accident. There was glass everywhere. We asked someone coming out of a restaurant if they knew of a place nearby that we could vacuum the glass out of the car. They said they had a auto shop nearby and to follow them. My Mechanic Joe opened up their shop after hours, just for us, so they could vacuum the car for us. Three people worked on our car until every scrap of glass was removed. At no charge! Wow! Thank you!

My daughter brought her truck in and just let me say, I was blown away by John and his staff. Very easy to talk to, explained everything so well and for someone to watch out for two women and not feel they are taking advantage of in the vehicle industry, was a major plus. I walked away feeling my daughter and her truck were handled like it was his own. Thank you for being a great shop and excellent work!!!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Absolutely amazing. My car is ALL I HAVE as I moved out here from New York City not too long ago and Joe was able to fix what I thought was going to be a $1000 problem in under 4 minutes for free! He is truly a blessing. I am going back to have some other things done and I honestly can't wait. My car runs so much smoother!

Will never go to another mechanic again! John, the owner and Ryan, shop manager, were super knowledgeable, personable, and easy to work with. The pricing was fair and direct, no upselling or fishy diagnosis here. I will recommend My Mechanic Joe to all my friends and family. Skip the shiny squeaky clean mechanics - they charge twice as much to put on a show. This place is basic mechanic shop, no frills, just honest mechanics willing to make the customer happy. I am one happy customer and will be back!

Super fishy place. I ask for an invoice of parts and he doesn't do it. He charges my girlfriend $430 for changing the brakes and rotors and if she paid cash she would get a discount. I'm pretty sure they just changed the break pads and pocketed the money. Very very fishy place. Told the guy leave the key under the matt and didn't do it. No invoice with price parts, what he supposedly did..

No up-selling here. Your car gets evaluated and you get what you need. Dealer wanted to do an expensive checkup and recommended I replace the cabin air filter for a whopping $125 and an alignment for another $100. I replaced the cabin air filter for $20, and my very basic test of letting go of the wheel and seeing if the car veered told me the alignment was probably not necessary. John had his mechanic drive the car and check tires - no alignment. Oil change and I was on my way. Never again going to a dealer. Thanks John - can't say enough good about this guy.

If you live in Woodstock, and you are taking your out of warranty vehicle to the dealer, I would suggest to you you are wasting your money. John, and his father before him, have an exceptional reputation and have done quality work at a fair price for many years. I don't buy a used vehicle without checking with John and getting his thumbs up. Call ahead, set up an appointment, and get some work done with the free wifi. I have yet to be disappointed and if something needed to be look at again, I know they will do it without an issue and take ownership of the issue. 5 stars easy.

John and the guys shoot you straight. They fix your problem and only the problem!! they are proud to be mechanics and should be because they are awesome. I trust them to take care all of my work and to take care of my wife without question. If you ever need work done the price will be more than fair and the the work will be done right.
