It all started in the South African Air force for Stefanus - 1981-1989. He completed his apprenticeship as Diesel and Petrol Mechanic through the Military before starting his own business. In 2000 he immigrated to the USA where he continued to work as an automotive technician for 20 years. Now he has fulfilled his dream of opening a family automotive repair shop with his sons, Ewald and Roan.

At age 67, I have had only one mechanic I totally trusted whose focus was on my needs and then they disappointed me 22 years ago. It is nice to FINALLY find another one.
These guys not only know what they are doing they are concerned with giving their customers the most value for the money. If they suggest something take their advice.

Fast, efficient and friendly service! I’ve been burned by several mechanics in the past before, so it was a breath of fresh air to be properly informed and taken care of. I was able to have my car’s ignition coal and one of my spark plugs changed in just under 30 minutes. Very professional service and I will be back again for future car maintenance!!!

I have used Sentinel twice-both times for difficult repairs that I could not get done elsewhere. The first was an internal engine problem on my 2016 Dodge Caravan for which I had been quoted as much as $3800.00 at other shops. Sentinel fixed it promptly and charged me $1200. After that nice experience I took them my 1957 Buick street rod to fix a brake problem that another well-known shop in Marietta had been try to fix for SIX MONTHS. I happened to look up repair shops after another shop in town tried to shaft me for $1500 for my fiancé's grinding CV axle. The other shop wanted to inflate the workload and replace the entire front axel. When I brought it to these guys, Ewald took the time to properly diagnose the issue and shop for the best option to fix the problem. We walked out with what we needed at a very reasonable price. That's not all though.
IN THE SAME DAY!!!
These guys were able to order me a door handle replacement for my vehicle AND INSTALL IT within

Fantastic guys. We were referred to them by a neighboring shop , as the owner was said to have more experience and is fully hands on with all repairs . Our bronco two need valves adjusted and a few leaking seals replaced . They did such a great job and have continued to go above and beyond . A pleasure to have meet !
