Just had my first appointment with Dr Mells who took over the practice from her dad, whom I had b. I've been seeing Dr. Lambert since I was about 5 or 6 when my parents met him at some swimming le. I came here because I wanted someone who had a more conservative approach to dentistry, and I was. Even though I teased my college roommate for aspiring to become a dentist, I found my calling at age 30.
After graduating from Washington University School of Dentistry I completed a one-year hospital-based residency at VA Palo Alto in 1985. I associated at an office in San Francisco prior to opening our office in Santa Clara in 1988. One day a month for 17 years, I was the staff dentist performing Oral Surgery at San Mateo County General Hospital.

We are very pleased to announce that a new dentist will be joining the team ar Lambert Dentistry, San Jose. Dr. Lambert Mells has begun working with us on a part-time basis. Dr. Mells grew up in the Bay Area. She attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology.

My first visit was excellent. The reception desk, assistant, and Dr. Mells are very professional. I appreciate how patient and gentle Dr. Mells was with me since visiting a dentist generally gets me nervous and tense. These ladies made my experience so positive it's hard to believe that it took a lifetime to experience a positive dentist appointment, so thanks.

Dr. Mells is a young but very skillful Dentist.
She cares about her patients, spending time understanding problems, answering questions and exploring different techniques to help her patients.
I went to her dental offiec days ago to get fillings done to ensure sensitive areas could be well covered. I had obvious black triagles in my front teeth that bothered me for ages. Dr. Mells put on fillings to fix the sensitive spots and was also very artistically fixed many black trianles. They are no longer visible!
Even though this is a temporary fix but I was thrilled and speechless with happiness

What an amazing dental office !! Dr Mells has a bright happy office space, and everyone there is in a good mood, excited to there, and motivated to help you!. I had a root canal, admittedly not the most fun way to spend your morning, but with all the positive vibes and sense of humor, it went by quickly and painlessly. Dr Mells is the consummate professional and highly trained at her job, and clearly enjoys her work. could not recommend highly enough. Do yourself a favor and if you do not absolutely love your dentist, try Dr Mells.

I believe Dr. Lambert is a good dentist, he explains what he is going to do, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience. His office is very clean, his hygienist's are all very nice. They are extremely timely & helpful. I do NOT believe Dr. Lambert should include children in his practice. My 3-year-old daughter had two cavities. She had to get Novocain on both sides, plus the fillings. She behaved like a rockstar. He was extremely impatient with her, scolded her on how she needed to keep a cotton ball in her mouth, suggesting it was a "rule." He snapped at her multiple times

Honest, sincere, knowledgeable, straightforward dentist with high integrity. Dr. Lambert is hands down the most trustworthy dentist I've ever met. In fact, the first dentist in my experience that didn't turn a consultation into a sales pitch. The lady that works with him in the office is very accommodating, professional, and kind as well.
I cannot recommend Dr. Lambert high enough. Not only he was available to see me the same day to treat the urgent issue, he also advised me the most money-efficient implant/crown treatment based on my PPO plan.

Once again Doc Lambert comes through - on my annual check up earlier in 2019 - the staff saw a major issue at my check up - not only did they tell me - but the referral expert they recommended took care of my situation in a super professional - timely and efficient manner - their referral was as great as the service they provide and averted a major dental issue for me in the future. Kudos Dr L and to the staff from the front office to techs to the Doc and his referral office who fixed a major problem.

Dr, Lambert is by far the very best dentist I have ever had. I have several bad experiences, including a botched wisdom tooth removal that left me with permanent nerve damage. To say I dislike going to the dentist is an understatement. I have had two crowns with him and both fit perfectly and needed virtually no adjustments when he put them in. The staff is lovely and everyone makes you feel welcome. Can't recommend Dr. Lambert and team enough.

I can't say enough about Dr. Lambert. If you are looking for a good, honest dentist, look no further! He tells you like it is, does not try to up-sell you on services you don't need. His office staff and dental hygienists are all wonderful! He has been taking good care of my teeth and my family's teeth for the past 8 years now. My mother-in-law was visiting and had a dental emergency and he took care of her right away. After that, we were sold! Thanks, Dr. Lambert!

Everyone in the office is fantastic. They're incredibly nice and patient. Over the last two years I've had work done, from fillings to wisdom teeth being pulled. They've always been extremely nice with me, even though i've got a horrible fear of dentist and really bad anxiety. I appreciate this place a lot and highly recommend it.

I've never written a review for anyone or anything until now. Dr. Lambert and his staff are so amazingly good at what they do that I feel it's finally time to do this! So yeah, interestingly enough I found Dr. Lambert on Yelp about 9 years ago when an old gold crown decided to fall off. Rather than replacing it with an expensive new one, he cleaned it up and glued it back on while complimenting the previous dentist's work extensively. (apparently it's a difficult thing to do that preserves a bit more of the tooth for better aesthetics) I've had a number of other difficulties

Search for the word "integrity" in Dr. Lambert's reviews. You will find several results, and that in itself says a lot about his practice. Dr. Lambert is the most ethical dentist I have ever been to. In the last five years that my husband and I have been going to him, we haven't had a single "cavity." His belief is that if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I used to go to dentists who would take x-rays of my teeth every two years like clockwork. Dr. Lambert doesn't take advantage of the system. He only takes x-rays as needed. In fact, I don't remember

I know that dentist are human being and make mistakes. That said I wanna share my experience with dr lambert and you can judge yourself. I went to him because I had sharp pain in my lower left teeth while flying. At first he said maybe refilling the tooth would help and tried it and I paid for it but After 6 month I still had the pain. Then he said I need root canal which you all know is a painful and very expensive experience. But the tragedy is that I still have the freaking pain while flying!! I'm not even happy with the crown he put for me since the food get stuck behind it and he said

By the time I was ready to clean up my act, I chose a dentist who had an office manager that should have been a used car salesman. They offered to fix me up for the amazing price of $40,000. Really? I literally walked out of the office as she was going over the treatment plan.
Next stop, Dr. Michael Lambert. I simply cannot express how wonderful it is to work with a man and his entire staff that are so honest

Dr. Lambert runs an old school practice. There's a reason his almost his entire office staff has worked with him for more than a decade (literally, only one person has worked there less than 10 years) and thats because he runs a good, fair practice, and treats his patients and employees very well.

It's so so hard to find a good dentist - that does good work and that you can trust!! I've been here twice for a cleaning and will never go to another dentist again. I've been to several other dentists who are pushy, unfriendly or untrustworthy. However, Dr. Lambert and his staff are kind, courteous and extremely calming. I know I'm in good hands with them. Even the front desk is great - which NEVER happens at a dentist's office.
