I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. T for a few years now and I couldn't imagine seeing any other dentist for my work. Each member of this team is incredible; they're helpful and knowledgeable, efficient and caring. It's really a great office to visit if you're looking for a new stellar dental team or if you have anxiety about dental work. Dr. T is experienced with dealing with even the toughest cases of dental anxiety and his compassion really shows. If I could give more stars, I would!

Had an emergency. Unfortunately the dentist I had was unavailable. So I called the nearest dentist with good reviews. She had a very unhelpful front desk, just answered: "X X Dental." No "Good afternoon," or "How may I help you." I told her the insurance I had, asked if they're taking new patients, and got a short reply "yes." I said that I had an emergency and right away she said that the first availability would be next week. I said "but it's an emergency," and she just said "we don't have anything open." Really? At least

He is definitely the worst dentist I have ever been to. I don't recommend anyone to go to Takeuchi's office. He has some serious anger management issues. Doug has a very condescending attitude and does things how he wants, refusing to listen to patient's concerns. He tried to fix one tooth and ended up damaging two other ones. Don't ever go to this office, you will regret it. Go to this office if you want all of your teeth to be destroyed and fall out. Due to COVID, he is finding ways to make more money by fixing something, but damaging everything else.

Dr. Takeuchi & his assistant took great care of me.
I was nervous going in and having oral surgery but they made me feel relaxed. Dr. Takeuchi explained everything
before the procedure so I would know exactly what to expect. Everything went well with no complications.
I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs dental care!!!

Doug and his staff are all so great! They really took good care of my teeth and all the issues they had. I loved how they broke it all down in sessions and they tackled all the issues one by one. I remember having to go in there every two weeks or so. It was a 6 to 8 month process and everything that we discussed was planned out and executed to where everything was done and I was extremely happy with. I highly recommend Doug and his staff! There are all so wonderful!

I love Dr Takeuchi and his staff. I am a super nervous dental patient but they make me feel so comfortable. Dr Takeuchi walks me through everything so I know exactly what to expect and I really appreciate his honestly.
I would recommend coming here to anyone but especially to those that have dental anxiety like I do. Dental sedation is a life saver!

My update regards the excellent and accurate appointment scheduling in this practice.
I don't know whether the office uses scheduling software, or whether he knows from experience, but it's very accurate, every time.
In contrast, every single one of the three dentists my belle-mère has seen, including two specialists, not only can't they give her the length of time she'll be there, they will change her appointments out from under her with less than 24 hours notice, usually earlier (oh joy), the day before or after.

Had my first, new patient visit today with Dr. Takeuchi and already feel right at home! The kindest, warmest staff welcomes you and Dr. Takeuchi is caring, kind and totally puts you at ease! The most comfortable dental experience I have ever had and my anxiety was put at ease. Looking forward to being a patient at this office and to my upcoming visits! They give you a tour of the office, have you watch a video about what they will be doing in your initial exam and even have a TV on the ceiling for you to watch! Everything about this dental office is 5 star rating! I made an appointment online and I was able to be scheduled in a timely manner. The front desk staff were personable and knowledgeable about insurance coverages. This is the first dental office where I have experienced a tour of the facility on my first visit and watched an informative video presentation. Doug did very thorough examination of my teeth and explained very well all the possible opinions I had to take care of my dental issues. Overall it was a very pleasant experience for my first visit. I highly recommend this dental practice

I've been Dr. Takeuchi's patient for about 7 years. He is great: very thorough, provides detailed explanations of the issues he discovered and outlines treatment options, and is always friendly and willing to answer questions. Everyone in his office is a pleasure to work with. There are also various sedation options available to reduce patient anxiety. I used to hate going to the dentist; now it's a non-issue (never thought I'd say that).

Dr.T is the best! His staff is just as great! They are friendly and provide some of the best customer service I have ever seen at a dentist! I am NOT an easy customer, my teeth are bad and my dental habits are.... not the best haha. I am super picky and always late. They are never anything but amazing even when its my 5th call of the day with yet another request for more paperwork for my insurance. Speaking of insurance they make it so easy, they aren't a preferred provider for most insurance but they do alllllll the paperwork and are geniuses with working with your coverage and budget to

Fortunate to have been recommended to see Dr. Takeuchi in 2010. Was blown away by his expertise, bed side manner, and staff! Even as a foot and ankle surgeon, I was able to learn tricks on minimizing pain during infections. Best possible dental experience with him and his office! Still his patient, even though I moved 2 hours away in 2012. Give this offic e the highest recommendation!

As a young girl, we were poor and never really went to the dentist. Wanting to start to take care of my teeth in my 20's, I went to a dentist here in San Jose. The RDA decided to shred my gums during a cleaning. When I told him it hurt, and to stop, he gave me attitude. I ended up walking out. Since then, I get very anxious at the dentist, even as far as crying.
