My husband and I stayed in one of Todd's apartments for several years. It was truly the nicest apartment I've ever lived in. The place had lots of little extra touches that made the place lovely, and that made it clear that he takes great pride in his properties. He was also the best and most responsive landlord I have ever had. My husband and I had a very hard time leaving once we knew we would need a larger place, and really hated knowing where ever we moved would not have the quality and personal touch of Todd's properties. I lived in one of Todd's one bedroom unit's in Takoma Park from 2010 - 2014, and still rave to my friends about the apartment and my experience with Todd as a landlord and property manager. The unit was in excellent condition with so many special details that made it feel more like a home than a rental (warm paint color, gas fire place, pull out shelving under the kitchen island, a large wooden deck, and so many more). I have just recently moved into an apartment that is under Todd Allgier, and I haven't been more happy with his product. After looking through hundreds of larger apartment complexes and numerous other renting agencies My girlfriend and I stumbled upon the perfect apartment and easily scheduled an appointment to see the place. We needed to move into the place within a week and he effortlessly accommodated us. We have now been here for a little less than a month, but we can see ourselves living here for the foreseeable future. I have had experience with past landlords being considerably apathetic

I was first apartment hunting with my boyfriend when we came about Todd Allgier's beautiful apartment in Arlington. We were nervous because we had one week to find an apartment and sign a lease. Speaking with Todd prior to looking at the apartment was easy and he was so, so polite. When we got to the beautiful apartment, we instantly knew that this was the one. I am Todd's neighbor in that we own adjoining small apartment houses in Takoma Park. I guess in some ways that make Todd and me competitors!
However, Todd has been a great neighbor, gladly sharing tools and making sure that his property looks attractive, which of course improves the appearance of the neighborhood. I also know that Todd took the extra step of improving street lighting around our properties for the sake of safety.
I have personally spoken to Todd's residents on occasion - they are a satisfied lot!
I and other neighbors reciprocate partly based upon Todd's example

I had the pleasure of staying in one of Todd's-apartment homes for one year. It was the most well cared for and thoughtful rental I've ever been in and Todd is the kindest and most caring landlord. Living in one of the Allgiers' apartments in Takoma Park has been the best rental experience I have ever had. Todd promptly responds to our emails, texts and phone calls and is a pleasure to communicate with. I have been renting from Todd for two and a half years now, the first year in a 1BR and since then in a 2BR. My husband and I will be leaving the DC area in the spring and we are genuinely sad at the idea of renting from someone else! The prices are extremely affordable considering how nice our apartments have been, with decks and deck furniture, generous storage space, and in-home washers and dryers (among other fantastic amenities). We can't say enough good things about Todd. After renting for over 18 years, he was by far the best landlord we have ever had. His care and attention to his property and tenants is unparalleled. Our apartment was immaculate and felt so much like a home. He really goes above and beyond. We were very sad when we moved out of town and could no longer rent one of his properties.
