I brought my Boston Whaler to H&M and the service was exceptional. I purchased my boat used and the engine hadn't been serviced for some time. I asked the technicians to change the oil and inspect the motor. Despite being extremely busy, H&M turned the boat around in a few days and had me back on the water, enjoying the SF Bay. I would highly recommend having your boat serviced with H&M.

H&M Marine went above and beyond to help us and we weren’t even their direct clients. We purchased a used engine from one of H&M’s clients who was getting their engine replaced at H&M, and John and Ethan and the rest of their team were amazingly kind, patient, and helpful when coordinating the pickup of the old engine. Very knowledgeable mechanics and excellent customer service. I definitely recommend you check these guys out!

I have been looking for a good outboard mechanic for 30 years and I have to say “EUREKA”!! I felt good about my experience from the moment I called to make the appointment. My motor was older but the mechanic knew it well and obviously knows his stuff. I brought it in for the annual service and got it back as promised much sooner than anyone else could. The second time I had it out it had a ‘hick-up’ and Ethan took my call while I was still on the water. I brought it back to them , they diagnosed the issue and didn’t charge me. I would recommend them over any of the other outfits I have

I couldn't be happier with the Yamaha outboard I purchased from H & M Marine in Sausalito. Ethan my sales person was great and very helpful. While others dealers within 100 miles couldn't get the motor I wanted and were price gouging because OB's are in high demand because of Covid they had a great price and in stock 9.9. Take my boat regularly here to get serviced and work done. Quality place to get work done no half stepping jobs ever. Will continue to take my boat here for all my needs. No job to small or big for these guys. Ethan, John and Nick are awesome! My 2019 Suzuki DF200 needed work and they got it done ASAP! And billed Suzuki! These guys are real professionals and I will not hesitate to call them again if needed! I highly recommend these guys for any of your salt water boating needs!

If your looking for a flawless installation on your next engine, these guys are amazing! I re-powered my sailboat with a Beta 38 and could not be happier. Not only was the execution spot on, but they kept me updated throughout the project. Everyone there is a pro with a great attitude. Re-powered our 1985 Nauticat 43 with a Beta engine from H & M Marine Services and they were outstanding. Not only did they do a great job with the engine and generator install, they replaced a 110 gallon fuel tank, a complex job that they local boatyard couldn't handle, and rebuilt my leaky dual-helm hydraulic steering system, even improving on the manufacturers design. Great customer service, great work, highly recommended!

Have worked with allot of marine service shops across the bay area, these guys are worth scheduling your boat into.

H&M's level of service is superior. Their work, turn-around time, price and interaction with the client are all outstanding. Very professional shop. One of the best shops in one of the best marinas in the Bay Area. Can't beat the level of service and dedication; a true hidden gem. They are also a dealer for beta marine, mercury, and suzuki engines.

When my Universal inboard died I found that their Beta38 was a excellent replacement. Has been running for 4 years now without a hiccup. Also had some hoses, exhaust, electrical and heater work done. Everything they did was excellent quality. Would definitely recommend them.

This is a company with truly great customer service. I live a hundred and forty miles from the nearest Suzuki dealership so to tow my boat to have a problem diagnosed on my motor would have been hugely inconvenient. I called to speak to a technician and Maud said she would have someone call me back and sure enough within fifteen minutes there Service Manager John called me to discuss the problem. We brain-stormed the issue and after a while he said he would have his technician call me back so that we could narrow down the problem. An hour later Shane called me back and he stayed on the phone

These guys worked on my Coastal 22 with a 140 Suzuki OB. They were a pleasure to work with, and were creative in addressing a linkage issue that could have been expensive to fix. I will be back.

My husband and I have repowered our 2 sailboats with Beta Marine engines by Hirschfield. Both times the job was quickly done and the results are excellant. We reccommend them very highly, and you cannot find a nicer group of guys.

These guys get an A for effort, timely, and professionalism; if you don't count the results. I used them for three different engines and had issues with two of the three. Two were outboard motors and one was a Yanmar diesel, which they should have referred me to a Yanmar mechanic but didn't.

With the outboards, they failed to do the compression check as asked and when I asked them about it they said they did but then said they didn't. One of the owners did and gave me the results that were completely wrong. He said the compression was 150 in both cylinders. Not knowing better

They just did some repairs on my outboard. I was very pleased and they gave me tips on better maintenance. I was pressed for time to get the boat done and they were as accommodating as possible given how busy they were.
