I love Serena Family Dental! I've been going here for about 2 years now and I am so incredibly happy with their services. Dr. Kurt is so patient and explains everything she's doing. The best part about her is she never judges your situation and always wants to help. Today I had a regular check up/ cleaning and had to take my 2 little boys with me because I had no one to watch them. Dr. Kurt and her assistant were amazing at helping me with my boys and making us feel welcome. As a mom this means so much to me. I would 100% recommend this place. I can't say enough good things about Serena and Cynthia. They both made me love coming to the dentist. They're both so warm and personable, and my teeth are always so clean afterwards. I struggled with finding a dentist I liked when I first moved to San Diego, as everyone I went to felt so impersonal and "corporate," more or less. I found Serena by complete accident and I'm so happy I did. I love coming here and I don' trust anyone more with my teeth than these two.

Serena is the only dentist I can trust. She is amazing with her job and knows what her patients need. She makes everything to make her patients feel comfortable and that's what I like most about her. Ever gone out for an easy day on the beach and come out of the waves with 5 cracked teeth? My cousin did and I knew exactly who to call. Dr. Kurt is our family favorite for anything dental...and good company. She and Cynthia are professionals are a great team as they take care of teeth and the administrative portion so that you walk out with a bright smile and no worries! The cleanings with this dentist are top of the line. I've never received a cleaning from the dentist her/himself before. My teeth are sparkling and feel so smooth. I didn't even know teeth could be so smooth. She also fixed a very old filling from childhood on my front tooth. It looks and feels better than ever! Feels like I have a whole new tooth! Hands down best dental appointment I have ever had. Serena and Cynthia were extremely gentle but absolutely thorough, they were friendly and professional, and told me everything that was happening prior to actually doing it. I'll be honest, I am usually scared to go to the dentist (even for simple tasks like cleaning) but this place really knows how to calm you down! Last year I went in for my first cleaning in 5 years and I was so surprised how my actual teeth looked. I could not be happier with the professional service I received here. I just moved from Vegas and was looking for a new dentist, the entire staff are professional, welcoming and took great care to answer all of my questions. I had a few cavities, nothing major but I would not hesitate to return here if I needed more dental work. The dentist is so kind, she knows I have TMJ so during the fillings she took a break, gave me some Advil and massaged my jaws. Excellent!

Dr Kurt is by far my favorite dental professional I have ever had the pleasure of going to, between her and the other employees at the office I always felt welcomed and in great hands.

This my first time here. I'm deathly afraid of the dentist. I started crying before doctor Kurt even got to see me. But let me say how AMAZING. Dr. Kurt was at calming me down in making me comfortable. I didn't feel a thing!!...I'm so happy I found this dentist. Will definitely come back. I've been here multiple times now for teeth whitening; I love every experience I've had here. The process is very easy, and my results are far better than what I expected. I didn't look in the mirror after every 15 minutes besides when applying because I wanted to see the difference when I was done with the treatments.
I was shocked when I looked in the mirror afterward. The employees are great, their personalities and smiles brighten up your day just by being there. I also took the photo afterwards. I'll be back again, and I'll be recommending Serena to all my San Diego friends as well!

I love this dentist she is amazing. she is very gentle and she is really light handed. I felt nothing! it was easy for me to make an appointment. I went online and scheduled an appointment at cosmeticdentistinsandieg… then I received a call back like 30 min later and got seen the same day. The office is really clean and the assistant is very efficient in her work and the office manager is awesome. He is understanding and no hidden fees and they do not force you to pay for nonsense treatments.

I got an emergency, could not reach my dentist. Dr. Kurt did let me in such a short notice. She was very gentle and understanding. i left the office with a rootcanal, built up, all ceramic crown under 2 hours and that's final. An other reason, i will move to this office is the technology that i have never seen, they have 3d print machine makes your crown in front of you inder 5 min!! give a shot...

Dr. Kurt is very nice personality and caring dentist. She completely got my phobia and with patience, we got over my treatment. Office is very clean, modern and state of the art. Due to my phobia, I have been postponing what i needed so long. I had severe gum bleeding , needed 6 implants, 17 crowns and 4 root canals. I was a complete a mess.

If moving and getting established in the area is difficult enough, looking for a great dentist that really deals with your concerns is tough. After researching and researching, I found Dr. Kurt.
