I had a very different experience than the previous poster. Dr. Kalish was thorough during my eye exam and made sure he wasn't over-correcting my vision by lowering my contact lens prescription. He also gave me a good discount on my glasses lenses, which needed to be replaced. He took my vision insurance (Vision Service Plan) with no problem and I never had to wait long for my appointments. The store itself is pretty small, no frills. But Dr. Kalish was friendly and remembered me right away when I came back for my follow-up. I liked the personalized service and had no problems whatsoever.

I had an ok experience at this place, right up until I got my glasses back...and then it all fell apart.
I went in to update the presecription in my existing frames; a simple fix that I've had done a number of time before elsewhere. When my glasses were brought back I didn't even recognize them - they were out of shape and round (Note: they were square frames when I dropped them off). Ok I said - this is the labs fault, they place that actually put them in the glasses. Let's try it again, Dr. Kalish andhis optician said they would send them back and get them fixed - no problem
