West End Cafe is a casual Manhattan style restaurant located in Carle Place on Long Island. Located in the heart of Nassau county, the close proximity to Roosevelt Field Mall, and most major highways makes it the perfect place to "grab a bite to eat" or meet friends for a full dining experience. For generations our family run operation has prided itself in making customers feel like guests in our home.

Maybe its because me and my date are black, but hostess didnt let us in because they said we needed some kind of vaccine passport to come in. We go out to eat all the time, and we never get asked for this anywhere. I didnt see them ask the white couple for their vaccine paper work when they walked in before us.

Absolute garbage place--- Needs a vax proof to get in, enforcing a segregative practice. Does not let kids in either--- Go spend your $$$ elsewhere and support a place that enforces love and togetherness. There are a few places down the road that invite everyone in regardless of status or masks and has great food!!!

Love this place, i have been here plenty of times. their wine selection is awesome and the bartenders can make a great drink! love that they are enforcing masking/vaccination proof! i came here tonight with 3 other people, two ordered the lamb - i was definitely jealous; it was cooked so perfectly. i always get the tuna pizza appetizer for my meal, i love it. the staff is so friendly and attentive, one of my favorite places ever!

Came here for my company Christmas lunch today. Was excellent! For starters we split a bunch of apps - the calamari, burrata & duck tacos. I really enjoyed the burrata!
For a main course I had the shrimp risotto - loved how the shrimp was cooked & loved the mushrooms!
They also made a great espresso martini! Will be back!

So glad we decided to celebrate my grandmother's 100th birthday at the West End Cafe. We were a large party of 26 people, but the staff went out off their way to make it feel like a personal, intimate celebration. The servers were attentive, accommodating, and unobtrusive. The food was outstanding across the board. We are very thankful to the entire staff for making this milestone family event so memorable. Looking forward to returning soon for our next delicious meal!

Just had lunch here, we shared the duck tacos, tuna pizza, watermelon feta salad, mango walnut salad and a burger. This was shared amongst 4 of us. May we all say the food was phenomenal!!! The Kobe burger was cooked perfect, the duck was moist with a crispy shell. The watermelon salad was fresh and refreshing, the tuna pizza was satisfying, flavorful, simple flavors ingredients forward. The mango salad was fresh and delicious.

So tonight my wife and I checked out West End Cafe in Carle Place, NY. Don't let modest appearances deceive you. Modest on the outside, but classy on the inside. The dinning room is CLEAN! No sticky tables! Reservations are highly recommended because of this restaurant's high repeat customer base.
We were seated in a simple table for two. Our waiter was very helpful and gracious to us navigating the menu. I had ordered my peach bourbon crush which was hitting the spot on a hot day. When asked what we wanted we said, " Tell the chef to surprise us, just no fish for the wife"

Beautifully COVID decorated! Inside as well as outside. Attentive and personable waiter. AND, the food... beautifully plated & delicious! We had the sashimi pizza appetizer, beet & goat cheese salad, and the rack of lamb (perfectly rare, as requested), with the famous pistachio parfait for dessert.

I have to say that his place is absolutely a gem. Our server was vinny he was amazing the food is always beyond delicious. This is a Manhattan fusion restaurant here on Long Island in Carle place and I am so glad they are here. Everyone I bring there absolutely enjoys this place from ambience to food and service. Whoever the chef is deserves an award . Hands down great place. My favorite dish is the pan sear ahi salad pictures below.

Appetizers and entrees have a nice, eclectic twist.
The four of us enjoyed the arancini and tuna pizza appetizer. We each had different entrees - the seared tuna salad, chicken, risotto with generously sized shrimp and the short rib entree. All were superb and cooked perfectly.

A tip for Bathroom need in this shopping center lot in Carle Place.
I happened upon the West End Bar and Grill in the corner of the lot of stores and it was opened. There is a sign on the door,
Bathroom for customers only.
A charming young lady did allow me to use their bathroom. T.G. !
I wanted to buy something at their bar to take out. But they do not have takeout cups and I wasn't in a situation to sit and relax at their lovely looking bar or stop at this time for a meal.
I thanked her and told her I would come back to eat there. Her reply, you will get really good food here. While

I came here on Sunday for a private event, it was my first time at West End Cafe. The service was really good and food was tasty. The started with the Arancini, it was very good but needed more of the sauce for dipping. My entree was the salmon over risotto, both were cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Today we had lunch at one of my all time favorite local spots in Westbury, NY, West End Cafe. My Mom and I have been lunching here for nearly 3 decades now, possibly longer. I forget exactly when this place opened but whenever that was, we have been coming here ever since then, and with very good reasons. It is delicious, delightful and an oasis for those who love good fresh food. Today my Mom enjoyed her favorite lunch time choice here, a Brie, Bacon, and chicken panini sandwich with caramelized onions and homemade potato chips. I've been wanting to dine at this place for some time now. I went once but they were closed for a baby shower came back a month later and finally had the chance to try this place for lunch. I was not impressed at all. The restaurant is nice inside and as was the service hence my 2 stars. I definitely wouldn't think of this place for a date night. It attracts a much older crowd 70+ crowd.
