I lived at woodlands for a year, 2020 - 2021. I had a neutral experience there until the end. My car was broken in to inside of the locked garage and a small amount of cash was taken from my glove compartment.
After move-out, I was charged $35 for the replacement of a blind that was clearly broken on move-in. I photographed the damage and included it on my move-in damage checklist. After getting a smaller-than-expected deposit back, I pointed out that they had incorrectly charged for the blinds and asked for the money back. Woodlands stopped replying to my emails and ignored several follow-ups

The unit that I rented with Woodlands of Minnetonka had not been cleaned properly prior to our move in. There were fleas in the unit. I had several painful bites covering my arms and legs from sleeping in my room. After alerting the management, they sent out Pest Control, who wasn't able to find any evidence, but did a preliminary spray. After this frustrating experience, I was able to pick up several fleas that had been fogged, placed them in a ziploc bag as evidence, and requested that the pest control return to the unit. We would have had to move everything out in order for them to properly

No lie...I lived here for like 6 years, and I've NEVER lived anywhere so convenient.
You can go from your garage to 169 N/S in what...2 minutes? Cedar Lake Rd, and Minnetonka Blvd are gateways to just about anywhere you can think of in the metro if you want to stay off the freeway...
The ridgedale mall is a few minutes away, not to mention 3 or 4 different Targets, a few grocery stores...
Before owning a home, the Woodlands will always be my most favorite of all the places I've lived.

This is a great place to live. The property is beautiful, tucked between marshes and ponds with lots of trees. The apartments are spacious. The management are helpful and courteous--especially Becky and Travis. The maintenance guys are the rock stars--if you have any problems they fix them rights away. That doesn't happen in most rental buildings. I've lived here three years and really enjoy it. Also, super dog friendly.

Have lived at the Woodlands for 8 months, and loved every second! We have a 2 bedroom that’s 1,200 sq feet... it’s huge! Plus It’s dog friendly, but yet the hallways are so quiet you wouldn’t even know dogs live here. In addition Becky and the whole management team are AWESOME! So friendly and will go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. Lastly maintenance is so responsive. They answer requests usually the next day, and always leave a note saying what they did/fixed. Highly recommend the Woodlands!

Very large living space, in a one bedroom apartment I have more than enough space for myself and my girlfriend. We got a unit looking over the pond out back and it is absolutely gorgeous. The property overall is just beautiful. More importantly, the staff is phenominal. Polite, friendly, and incredibly helpful.

Tried to negotiate the raise in my rent recently. Management did not want to consider anything I had to say. I have lived here many years and therefore have saved Heartland a lot of money because turnover averages $1750 a month. I know a raise is inevitable when you renew your lease but being here for many years, you would think they would give you less the 4% raise in your rent. Therefore, I feel long term dependable renters are not appreciated.

Love living here!! Super Dog/pet friendly. Becky (your go to Gal) will literally go out of her way to help you with almost anything. It’s in a nice, quiet and peaceful area. They always think up nice community events for you and your fur babies to go to.
HUGE thank you to the staff for helping me settle in here as pain free as possible!

After living here for more than three years, I can say that the Woodlands of Minnetonka is the place to be. Not only have I spent a very comfortable extended time here; but I have stayed in two different units. I first moved here into a large, two-bedroom apartment on the top floor. That two-bedroom apartment was very spacious and lovely and it even had a wood burning fireplace and a vaulted ceiling. After a year, I decided to move into a one-bedroom apartment to save some money. I have been in my one-bedroom apartment ever since. The one-bedroom is very spacious, much like the two-bedroom I had
