Delayed allergies are evaluated through patch testing. This is a process in which various allergens are applied to the back with tape and left in place for two days at which time they are removed.
Mohs surgery is considered the most effective technique for treating many basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) and squamous cell carcinomas (SCCs), the two most common types of skin cancer. Sometimes called Mohs micrographic surgery, the procedure is done in stages by a dermatologist, including lab work, while the patient waits.

Elena is the best!!! I have been going to her for several years, mostly for skin checks. Recently, she has been treating me with chemical peels (3) for dark sunspots on my face. The peel she uses is strong, very effective and has exceeded my expectations. I have said goodbye to full coverage foundation. Also, my insurance covered the peels. The office is run well, staff is great, wait times have never been more than a few minutes. Highly, highly recommend Elana.

I made an appointment due to concerns from seeing several raised surfaces on my face and I was scheduled to see Elena Shumsky, ARPN. My experience with her was pleasant, she’s knowledgeable, patient and addressed all of my concerns. She made me feel like a valued patient and not another number. I would highly recommend going to see her!

I went in this morning to ask about after burn care. I suffered from second degree and superficial burns on my face and chest. I was hoping to get either a list of products I can use for after I’m healed and just general advice. The PA Kayla, she was nice but she barely looked at my face and then recommended Citaphil, Which I’ve used before and dried my skin out and aquaphor, which I mentioned to her that I was already using. I was in the room for MAYBE 15 minutes, if that. No skin evaluation was made. The nurse and the PA stood like 5 feet away from me and didn’t even examine my skin. I
