Founded in 1972, the first El Cristo was nothing more than a small urban cafe, serving the freshest guava and cheese pastries (pastelitos) and the best Cuban Coffee in the town of Westchester in Miami, we later relocated to the heart of Little Havana, where today that passion for excellence and service is better than ever.
Everything we do at El Cristo is beyond the ordinary. We strive to create an environment that makes you feel at home, from when you're greeted at the door until that moment you revisit us. El Cristo is a place where you can come in and sit for breakfast, lunch, or dinner while also having the choice of catering or takeout.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Started with a large glass of sangria. Delicious skirt steak with a wonderful chimichurri sauce. Very nice salad and wonderful fried yucca. Also had delicious ox tails with yellow rice and beans. We were served tasty garlic bread. Dessert was tres leches cake which was excellent. Patrick was an excellent server who was very helpful with everything we ordered.

30min wait for party of 9, when I asked the waiter what's taking so long he said there's a lot of customers but we were one of the first ones there. The place was half full when we were seated, 30mins pass half of us was still waiting for our food. Never had a Cuban sandwich and was looking forward to it, the waiter said it's not available.

This restaurant is a staple stop for us yearly when on holiday. The staff is super friendly, and ensure everyone is satisfied with their meals. The food is outstanding and large portion sizes. They accommodated our last minute request for a birthday dessert to celebrate a friend of our sons and they did not disappoint! We absolutely love this restaurant, staff and recommend to others looking for fantastic Cuban cuisine!

One of the best meals in Miami. The oxtail and skirt steak are perfect.! Mimosa is fresh squeezed and great coffee. Its a little laid back on getting you the drinks and your order, just a reminder to respect the waitress and the culture versus expecting super fast and needy service. Enjoy the safe outside dining with all masked staff. Several people walking by stopped right table-side and asked us what we were eating, (awesome presentation) . Little Havana is great and you cannot stop there without stopping here.

I don’t know why this restaurant has high score and $$. Family dinner for 2 adults and one kid = 1 x Bandeja El Cristo + 1 Churrasco Grand + 1 Margarita + 1 x lemonade + 1 x water = $69 + tax + tips = $86. Meat was very dry and totally Bandeja el cristo not eatable. We asked to change Margarita cocktail because they used very cheap vodka and smell like acetone. They also included 18% tips in bill. I will never go to this restaurant again. Felt like lied.

The food tasted good, the main dish I ordered (vegetarian rice) and appetizers were good. However, the waiter never brought out bread, and a side of veggies that was ordered came out cold. Passion fruit juice is neither sweet nor fresh, but rather frozen and not fully ripened. Finally, the bill automatically includes 18% tip which is bad etiquette. I would have left the tip anyway.

El Christi was delicious! Authentic Cuban food! The Ropa Vieja was cooked to perfection! We also ordered half a pitcher of Mojito, recommend it. Service was quick, waiters were friendly, ambiance was great, we sat outside enjoying the view and locals! The Congri Rice is a 10 out of 10! Would def recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I visited Miami for a few days. We went to South Beach for dinner a few nights and spent a good amount of money in doing so. We stopped in to get lunch and was incredibly impressed. Best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Impeccable service despite the language barrier. If we come back to Miami we are absolutely coming here again.

Horrible service. Came in on 7/26 at dinner time. Our server with the slicked back hair and frosted tips completely ignored us the entire time and only paid attention to his other party. We asked for the check 3 separate times and were just looked at. We had to finally ask a different server who brought us the check. Multiple people on staff walking around and only 3 tables sat in the restaurant.
Gratuity is automatically included to the check.. go somewhere else, just not worth it.

OMG, what an awesome lunch!!! No, really!!! We went there on a recommendation from a local friend and boy, was he ever right.
The service was second to none, the staff friendly, the food excellent, and the beer COLD. You'll not leave here hungry!
Lastly, the restaurant was very clean and we felt very safe dining here. They are 5 stars for sure.

This was a solid 4 stars place I'd definitely return to. We just stumbled upon this place and I'm glad we did. The portion sizes are large. I tried really hard to finish my Camarones (sautéed shrimp) but just couldn't. It was delicious and very very garlicky (which I liked). If we weren't walking around more I would have taken it to go. The drinks were also a good size and they had a nice variety. We sat out on the patio under the shade and got to enjoy the sights and sounds of little Havana.

I love this place! It's not close to where I live but anytime I'm in the area I stop by! The service is always quick and the food never disappoints. My favorite meal is their Churrasco. I decided to order the baby churrasco since I wasn't that hungry but refused to not stop by LOL It is always cooked just how I like, the black beans are flavorful with a generous scoop of white rice. If you're in the area and craving an authentic Cuban restaurant stop by!

Love this place! This was my first time at a Cuban Restaurant and I was highly pleased with everything. We were looking for a dinner place last minute and were able to be seated immediately here. There is a lot of outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. The servers here were extremely friendly and so pleasant to interact with. When you first sit down they give you garlic bread and time to pick out drinks. I ordered the Mango Margarita which was delicious, but I would recommend to get it frozen next time. It tasted strongly of Tequila!
I ordered the Bistec De Pollo in garlic sauce with Yellow

Absolutely amazing traditional Cuban food in Little Havana. We tried so much, the appetizer trays were delicious and plenty of food we only needed to order one but they had different things on them. Cuban sandwich was delicious served with hot meat inside unbelievable. Empanadas were authentic and delicious, the filling was hot and a nice delicious blend of flavors. yes Mojito's was served in a pitcher and were plentiful, enough for 2/3 servings for 3, they were delicious and refreshing. I enjoyed an ice cold beer that was a perfect pairing for this delicious authentic Cuban food.

This is an incredible restaurant. Believe when I say they have delicious Cuban food. The service is fast and very hospitable.
It was a very hot day, and we asked for water our server was very attentive. She brought us water right away and suggested a couple of dishes of the menu.
We ordered the Trio Habanero dish was very tasty and the meats were tender. Loved the shrimp and the avocado in our salad that complemented the dish nicely. Fresh and vibrant ingredients. The rice was also delicious. (Dish shared by two people).
The garlic bread served while we waited was also great.

If you come to Little Havana and you have any ounce of fun in you left, you have got to come here, if only for one drink at least. Forget Wet Willie's- this is the spot. $9 for boozy slushies (I was getting the Frozen Paloma, which was so good, and my friend got the frozen sangria.
Also, if you come here (especially if you're Catholic or have a Catholic background of any sort), you've got to visit the "Confessional," aka the bathrooms. It is legit.
Summary: A MUST COME TO PLACE
