St. Louis Counseling, there's a reason why we say our experts aren't just therapists - they're agents of change! Since our inception, we've been guided by 2 Fundamental Principles that clearly differentiate us as leaders in our field. In Hollywood and popular media, therapists' office spaces are typically lined with ceiling to floor windows, panoramic mountain views, and swanky leather furniture.
When you arrive at a real therapist's office only to find florescent lighting and wood-paneled walls, the impact can be downright disappointing! At Change, Inc., we take pride in our office space and strive to make the environment consistent with a comfortable, upscale, and pleasant atmosphere. To that end, here are a few pictures to give you an idea of what it feels like to be in therapy with us.

Margot is a single mom who works hard to provide a better life for her twin high school sophomores, Jessica and Carl. Recently, Carl has been sullen and withdrawn when he comes home from school, and generally unresponsive to any inquiries about how things are going.
She didn't know what to make of this until recently when she overheard Carl talking on his cell phone - some upperclassmen have been harassing him lately at gym, and for the past 3 weeks, they've been posting insulting memes of him on social media.Margot immediately felt white, hot rage - it brought back all the memories she had of being picked on in high school.

It was a typical night in the Jensen household. No one was talking, everyone probably should have been, but that's just not how they worked. And thanks were correspondingly tense, as usual. Mom was in the living room watching TV, dad was on the computer, and John was upstairs in his room doing who knows what.
Natosha is getting tired of people at work always asking her what she means. Whether it's in a staff meeting or a presentation, she has a growing sense other people just don't fully understand what she's saying, which ultimately she personalizes to mean that they don't understand her. It's lonely and isolating.
Dan wants to run away. No one in his family seems to understand what he wants from life - his parents keep telling him that he must go to college after high school, but Dan wants to pursue graphic design on his own and doesn't believe the programs he's been asked to look at will really add any value to his self-taught skillset, which is actually quite impressive.

Change, Inc. is the top of my list for counseling referrals. Every person I have sent here shares their experience of growth and change for the better. The therapists are top notch. Ryan Neace has assembled a counseling team like no other and he himself is passionately dedicated to the commitment that every client receive excellent care.

It's funny they would mention, "those who pursue counseling are typically strong and capable," when they made me feel neither of those things after I used their services. With how awful they treat people, I can't believe legally they're still allowed to run a business, let alone a counseling service.

I have not used their services but the company responses to the negative reviews is enough of a deterrent. Majority seem like a template response with specific jabs added to the end of it. With mental health, customer service and mindfulness are extremely important because you’re dealing with fragile individuals. I see neither mindfulness nor adequate customer service from whomever has been in charge of responding to reviews. The responses alone make me want nothing to do with this company…
Edit: the response literally validates my main point. Firstly, “fragile” as in sensitive, not as

Honestly, do yourself a favor and don’t go here. They aren’t well organized. They aren’t engaged in sessions and I just never FELT GOOD here when I left my sessions. If you want someone to just listen to you, go talk to a random stranger in the park for free. That’s the quality of therapy you’ll get here. There are many good emotionally productive therapists in St Louis, but not Change Inc.
LIFE UPDATE: actually I went to another professional that did a MUCH BETTER job. Instead of spending an hour talking in circles, I got EMDR for my trauma AND was diagnosed with ADHD that Change Inc

Starting therapy is never an easy thing, but here I was put at ease. I am thankful for the kind, caring and empathic services received all the way around. Ryan has been wonderful throughout the process and allowed me to feel heard and provided me with additional resources as needed. It has been so helpful for my growth and healing and I am thankful for the work they all do!!

Urban Harvest STL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing St. Louisans with equitable access to fresh, healthy food regardless of socioeconomic status, race or location. We grow healthy produce across a network of urban farms in the heart of St. Louis and donate the majority of the harvest to nonprofit partners serving communities with limited or non-existent access to healthy, nutritious food. We also prioritize education and community engagement as critical components to helping folks achieve food sovereignty. We began partnering with Change, Inc. in 2016 and ever since they have

Good luck !!! I tried to seek counseling for my husband and I a week and half ago and was told by Katie that they could help us. Katie and I agreed up on Sunday counseling for my husband and I. I reach out to her and told her that I was ready to pay and she told me that we were not a good fit for their program !!! I ask her why, and she told me that she reached out to me twice within two weeks and I did not respond. I told her that I am a busy lady and that I travel from one job to another and she hung up on me and when I tried to call back to make sure that it was a mistake she block me ! I’m

Girls in the Know, a nonprofit that empowers girls to embrace a strong sense of self, began partnering with Change, Inc. in 2020. Change, Inc. has generously supported our Knowledge & Power Gala, helped our Ambassadors stay connected during the pandemic, and have recently joined our Advisory Council. Because of their investment in our girls, it is clear that they care about the people of St. Louis! We are so grateful for their partnership, to have a resource to be able to provide referrals to our girl grads and trusted adults, and to have an outlet for support for an increasing number of our own

This organization is top notch. I highly recommend them. Each of their staff have been so kind and friendly to me. They are experts in their field for sure. Having gone to several other counselors in the past, across the country even, that have been "budget counselors" I typically left those counseling sessions wondering why I was even spending the little that I was. With Change, not only does it fit into my mental health budget (Yes... everyone should have one of those) but I would pay twice as much as I am for the counsel I am receiving. They are THAT good. And I know that my mental health and

YOUR MENTAL HEALTH &OR RELATIONSHIP IS TOO IMPORTANT TO BE TRUSTED WITH CHANGE INC. (Saint Louis)
I will preface that I do not hold the company responsible for the failure of my marriage as I believe it was destined to fail in the end and after time am thankful for the result. I am also not likely to write up a review whether positive or negative. At the very end of my four year marriage and admitting too late in the game, I convinced my now ex-wife to complete (4) total sessions, (1) as a couple (1x2) separately with the counselor, and a final session together. Admittedly I do believe

As a newcomer to therapy who was skeptical about the idea for years, I cannot say enough about how helpful my time at Change Inc has been. From day one, the South Kingshighway team made me feel welcome and important. They took interest in the challenges specific to my situation and helped me choose a counselor best equipped to address those problems. Meredith was a great choice and has masterfully balanced listening, asking questions, and offering a novel perspective in every meeting since. I've never felt talked down to or prescribed here. Instead, each session is an organic conversation in which

RUN!! DO NOT GO HERE! The owner is SEXIST AND RACIST. I've never been treated more poorly by the staff and particularly the owner Ryan, at any place in my life. I was left sobbing and almost had to check myself back into the hospital after I was berated and yelled at by the owner because I mentioned that some of their policies didn't account for circumstances outside of my control. Ryan is extremely abusive and combative with his clients. This place cares only about $ and has zero regard for mental health or people suffering from it. It's really sad to see a place that should be
