Like many others, Andrew delayed seeing a specialist about his hearing loss for many decades. Except, it wasn't until 2019 that he had a life-changing epiphany that possibly saved his life. Having worked for 26 years in naval aviation, Andrew's hearing has been subjected to the turbulent sound of the jet engines, meaning he was forced to retire due to hearing loss.

When was the last time you had a yearly physical, a dental check-up, or a blood pressure test? For most, it's within the last 12 months. But if I were to ask you when you last had a hearing test, the answer for many would be "never." The statistics around hearing loss in the US are worsening. This is true among industrial workers now reaching retirement, along with younger generations who are listening to more loud music than ever before.

I could not ask for a more patient, understanding and knowledgable Audiologist. I was not born hearing impaired; but, at the age of 39 I had a stroke which permanently damaged the nerves in my ears. Marcie has alleviated my anxiety about my hearing aid and necessary repairs. She has custom fitted my aid which has drastically improved the quality of my hearing. She is great at what she does and NEVER over promises. If you visit Jacob's Audiology you will not be disappointed.

I’m so happy My Daughter and I picked this audiologist she was the Best!! Excellent services, Great Costumer service!! Very Great at following up. A must if you looking for a audiologist. She changed my Daughter life with her new hearing Aids. She works from the heart and really cares!!! I wish I could give more then 5 Stars. I most definitely recommend Marci Jacobs. Simply the Greatest audiologist in the DMV Area!!

I simply can not say enough amazing things about Marcie and all of the staff at Jacobs Audiology. Since I have been a patient of Marcie's she has treated me as nothing short of family. Always there for a last minute call, always genuinely concerned with any issues I had with my hearing aid, always willing to spend any extra time needed to walk me through each and every purchase and visit. I don't know what I'd do without Marcie. I have an unusual hearing curve that has required many, many visits to fine tune my aids & to maximize my comfort level. Marcie has enthusiastically risen to the challenge and gone many extra miles to research & develop programs that fit my unique needs. Marcie genuinely cares for each client & over the 20+ years that I have been with her she has never failed to spend the time needed to give me the best hearing assistance available. I can not say enough about Marcie both as a person and as a professional. Highly recommended.

First I would like to say that I have been wearing hearing aids for the last twenty five years and in those years I have experienced all types of hearing aids and unfortunately in most cases they have underperformed. Last spring I took it upon myself to find hearing aids that would increase my ability to hear and I thought if I could do it without going to an audiologist all the better. You see I didn't want to spend a tremendous amount of money this time around. I found a company on the internet where all you had to do was answer some questions , call their office pay a much smaller price and

Marcie Jacobs, audiologist and owner of this business, is awesome. She's very knowledgeable and very patient. She can explain everything you want to know in great detail. She's been able to answer every question we asked in layman's terms so that it's easily understood. Mom's hearing aid has been a very hard fit because she has an unusually shaped ear canal on both sides, and Marcie has been extremely willing to order new ear molds and work with Mom to get the fit just perfect. She's highly recommended by me!

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Marcie and Jacob's Audiology. I have had a hearing loss for several years and had put off getting tested. The entire process at Jacob's was positive. Marcie is so friendly and understating. She takes her time to explain everything, not only with the testing but also about options if you need hearing aids. I did need hearing aids (no surprise) and Marcie was great at explaining the options with absolutely no pressure. One of the things I like best is she is an independent audiologist, she does not work for a hearing aid company, so I feel

Marcie Jacobs, the owner of this business, is awesome. Marcie 's very knowledgeable and listens to everything I said about my hearing issues. Marcie explains everything you want to know in a way you will understand. I went to her almost 3 years ago with hearing loss in my left year. She set me up with a hearing aid that works great and I now hear like I used to. Whenever I had issues with my hearing aid she was easy to get a hold of and took care of the problems quickly. I would and have recommended her to others.

I've been a patient of Jacobs Audiology for a number of years and expect to continue for many more. Luck was with me on the day I chose to leave my previous ear doctor, because my new ear doctor was supported at the time by Marcie Jacobs as the in-house Audiologist. I've had many audiologists since I was a child. I'm over 50 now, so I've worked with quite a few. By far, Marcie is my favorite. She is caring, pleasant, and highly knowledgeable about many different brands of aids. I never feel I'm being rushed in my appointments. She helped me find an aid that overcame issues I had for many years
